  1. The reds and yellows are pretty accurate but the green is washed out in the scan. Ken
  2. Over my old body, I get seniority rights over you for a Fight 32 which should go well with the copy of 33 I bought last night - BINed on eBay from Chuck for $25 shipped while listed for $75 on MileHigh's site I didn't just jinx myself. Plus 143ksk has magnanimously agreed to let me buy his copy of # 24 (Bayonet for the Banzai Breed ) Not easy to carry around a 7' tall woman but worth it if you can find one. Ken
  3. Thanks. I'm sure if you have a copy the colors and gloss would be outstanding. Ken
  4. As usual with my scanner, the colors are not as bright and vibrant as they are on the actual book. This is one of my favorite Master Comics. I love the composition. Ken
  5. Finally home, and very content... Congratulations. I have a 2 1/2 year old son and it just keeps getting better and better. Ken
  6. Is this one of the "Int" books that there was a thread started about? Ken
  7. How the heck did I miss this book? I love that cover. Was that in one of their weekly auctions? Nice copy with great pages too. Congratulations. Ken
  8. Won this book in the last Heritage auction and could not be happier. I have searched for a high grade copy for years and have never seen one other than Adamstrange's copy. This book graded out at 8.0 but there is not a single stress line on the spine. The only wear at all on this book is along the top edge and it is very minor. Best 8.0 I have ever seen. Ken
  9. Nice looking book. All the books you show tend to have very nice eye appeal. Ken
  10. My only issue from this series but I would like more. Ken
  11. Thanks. I am very happy to finally get a nice copy. Ken
  12. The book was graded 9.0 and it has bone white pages and amazing gloss. Ken
  13. Just got this book in from Heritage yesterday and finished cracking it out this afternoon. This has been high on my want list for a long time. Ken
  14. Very nice, simple cover. You have a great Wonderworld collection. Ken
  15. Ken, that is a beauty! One question though. Is that a roll of quarters in Midnight's pocket? I hope so. Ken
  16. I just love this cover for so many reasons, the composition, color combinations and lack of word balloons. The scanner definately doesn't capture the richness of the colors on this one. The purple on this cover is saturated and dark and the yellow is pure and bright. Ken
  17. You're welcome. If I did not already have a copy of that book, I would have kept it myself. Ken
  18. What a great cover. I really like promotional comics as well. Any idea who did the cover art? Ken
  19. Cool cover. That's one of those books that I probably looked over in the Gerber Guide a bunch of times and never really paid attention to it, but when I see a full size scan as nice as this it really jumps out. Ken
  20. Can't let Danny carry all the weight in this thread. Just cracked this beauty out this morning. I bought it as a 7.0 in the last Comiclink auction and to me it looks like a solid 8.0. Ken
  21. This book is so nice I had to post it twice. It is in the Fiction House thread as well, but more people seem to look here. I wanted to say thank you to SACENTAUR for bringing this beauty to the Yorba Linda show and giving me a good deal on the book because he knew how much I love it. Thanks Steve! Ken
