  1. absolutely positively 100%. Not even a contest for me on either of the two choices.
  2. Gorgeous!!! Of all of the non-Batman Tec covers, that's by far my favorite. I had one in in CGC Universal 5.0 and regretfully sold it a couple years ago. Now a fellow forum member has it and I'd say the chances of me ever getting it back are about as good as becoming the next American Idol.
  3. Nice 2nd printing of #29. What are these 2nd prints bringing these days? Although of all the Famous First Editions, this one is the toughest. S ... S, and I use to be one of your allies
  4. No contest IMO... Torchy all the way! The Human Torch has had such a larger impact on the nostalgia and historical significance of the Golden Age and is a much more enjoyable and entertaining superhero character. And to own his first issue of his first title in unrestored condition, is a very special feat.
  5. I can't understand why anyone would want to own anything so atrocious. In fact, perhaps you should just send this book to me and I'll properly manage the atrocity.
  6. Don't worry, it's been bought already. I know who owns it now. hello all... didn't Primetime buy/trade it at Wondercon a few weeks ago? rick Yes, I did and it's getting slabbed right now...
  7. a good one, no doubt...I "bought" one about 3 months ago, but have been waiting for the seller to have cgc'd to confirm not trimmed...he emailed me this week that it should be about a week, till he gets it back, so i am close rick
  8. Don't worry, it's been bought already. I know who owns it now. hello all... didn't Primetime buy/trade it at Wondercon a few weeks ago? rick Yea.. He traded some key SA and GA books for it Well. I guess we'll see it in the Tec thread soon... I've seen it. It's a very special book.
  9. I must respectfully, but whole-heartedly disagree.
  10. Tec 29 in an unrestored low grade or More Fun Comics 52 in an unrestored lower grade
  11. Here's one folks... Tec 29 in unrestored VG- or More Fun Comics 54 in unrestored VF (centerfold patially detached)
  12. Dizzy, 3 awesome books. Hope to acquire just one of them this year. Hey Silver Surfer, only three awsome books??? The image has four. Out of pure curiosity, which one is not so awsome?
  13. My Golden Age quartet... It would take quite a 'battle' to pry these away from my collection...
