  1. Buck, on the HOM 193, I'll give them 2 dollars for it. You've been out bid ! About the HOM 175, I purchased the Pacific Coast copy for $375 in 9.0 about a year or so ago, and I thought I over paid. It is now looking like it is almost a cheap price. Go fiquere.
  2. Peter, I am just stunned at the quality of your collection !!!!!!
  3. Great GGA collection. VERY impressive to view like that !!!!!!!!
  4. Just got in about 10 books from ebay seller genepliner, and I can definitly say he generally overgardes by .2 to .4 and even a half a grade or a full grade in scarcer cases. I purchased HOM 218 (all his grades) nm, 219 nm, 204 nm, 205 nm-this one may even be a only a 8.0, 211 nm, 212 nm, 215 nm, 217 nm, and 175 in fine--that was a fine minus. Without getting into each book, because they are not in front of me as I wrtie this, most books were a 9.0, maybe one was a 9.2, and one was a 8.5. I can say on the positive side, thay all have nice owtwp pages, a few even white, and he ships quickly and packs securely. But no backing boards.
  5. Nobody on the horor thread mentioned today is (was) 6-6-06? Horrible !!
  6. I just inquired about many of the Fiction house books, and ALL of the Fiction House's are sold. All the Jungles, Jumbos, and Rangers, (except the Planets), and except the one's consigned to auction houses, are sold.
  7. I have a Atomic age Superman with 3 covers, a SA GL with 4 covers, a ealry 50's horror comic with 4 covers, a few keys with double covers, a cgc 9.4 Action 76 with a double cover, a ealry '60's Jetsons with 3 covers. I had a phone conversation with a collector who called me about 3-4 years ago who has a comic with EIGHT covers !! He collects (almost exclusively) double cover, and more, comics. I don;t remember what the 8 cover book was. I just remember it was a very common mid to late bronze book. Maybe a Marvel or DC. Not sure. And I think he said he had a 6 cover book, and a few, or more then a few 5 cover books.
  8. Wow !! Talk about high grade. What books, Sterling.
  9. Just looked at the census, and hard to belive this is the only graded copy.
  10. Shep-Nice greytone beauties you posted. They are not seen nearly enough. Anymore for our viewing pleasure?
  11. Does anyone remember when they used to be called washtone covers?
