hey @MattTheDuck sorry missed the tag here. Hi @ming86 I'm based in Singapore. Are you sending this in raw or already slabbed and need regrading? Proper comic bags and boards (take note to get the size right, the usual e.g. GA ones are largest etc etc) so the edges of the comics don't get frayed, and 1 bag and board per comic, if you're not familiar enough don't tape the cover of the bag (too many horror stories I'm sure many can relate to). Bubble wrap for slabbed ones definitely, tape the top and bottom so the slab doesn't slip out of the bubble wrap. If you're going at it alone, you should definitely consider purchasing insurance, depending on the comic value, and get the CGC memberships as some of the guys here have already mentioned. That's what I've done, but this depends on the value of the books you're submitting and frequency as well. If you're intending to submit to a local shop (sorry I'm not familiar with the Malaysian ones, but there are a couple in Singapore if you need names), they will naturally charge you a premium but it does reduce the hassle involved, and could work out economically if you're just submitting a handful of books. Depending on how often and how much you will ship, you can consider purchasing packaging material in bulk (boards and bags or comic sleeves), I purchase from the US and ship them over via something called BuyNShip, these shippers are cheaper as they're basically renting out space in the ship that would otherwise not have been rented out. Thing is I'm not familiar with the couriers in Malaysia, but I use EasyShip for Singapore and they do aggregate other couriers for you. You could try it out in Malaysia. SingPost for e.g. has been a very reliable courier, I shipped books under USD 100 all the way to a Batman #1-10 (in a few batches) to the US before with no issues. But naturally as you will be shipping from a much further destination to the US, remember to secure the edge of the boxes (reinforce all the sides with tape), plenty of bubble wrap is a must, don't do more than 2 or max 3 slabs, put bubble wrap to occupy the empty space between the slabs and the sides of the boxes so the slabs don't move around too much during the transportation process. I guess these practices are arguably applicable no matter where you're shipping to/from. Also, get a courier which allows you to track all the way to the destination where possible. One other option - if you're ever flying to the US for a comic con, you can just drop your books there so you don't need to worry too much. Done that a few times before. I'm not sure how else I can help or if the above was useful at all, but feel free to reach out if you need more tips.

In the midst of downsizing to focus on specific runs / upgrading books. Feel free to ask for combined shipping (but with limits stated below). Might have listed some previously. 1. U.S. shipping will be as follows: $10 for every 5 raw books (unless GA books, will be about 3-4 as they are larger in size). Unfortunately, even if you were to just buy 1 book that I listed for say $0.05, it will still be $10 shipping, please do be understanding about that! $25 for CGC books (max 2 per shipment) I will also ship anywhere (unless the courier doesn't reach there of course), but will confirm shipping cost prior to closing the deal. I will pack, ship and provide tracking info within 3 business days after receipt of payment. Shipping of only raw books will take a while longer due to parcel sorting by courier. Slabs are shipped in larger boxes and will arrive faster. 4. No HoS / PL / IG sheriff list etc 5. Wonder Woman #25 (7.0) - $580 Cr-OW. Last 7.0 went for $591 in Apr'21.

Wonder Woman #13 (4.5) - $500 Last 4.5 went for $504 in Mar'21, though price per point seems to have increased with 6.0 at $1,300 in Apr'21.

Batman #23 (4.5) - $1,600. Last 5.0 went for $1,660 in April '21. Cr-OW pages. Wear on the letter 'B'.

Batman #18, 3.0 - $2,000. OW-W pages. Some wear over the words 'Batman' and writing on cover. Last 3.0 went for exactly $2,000 in April '21.

In the midst of downsizing to focus on specific runs / upgrading books. Feel free to ask for combined shipping (but with limits stated below). Might have listed some previously but will relist all again. 1. The first person in the thread to post the gets it, trumps any PMs. 2. Accept PayPal / transfers 3. U.S. shipping will be as follows: $10 for every 5 raw books (unless GA books, will be about 3-4 as they are larger in size). Unfortunately, even if you were to just buy 1 book that I listed for say $0.05, it will still be $10 shipping, please do be understanding about that! $25 for CGC books (max 2 per shipment) I will also ship anywhere (unless the courier doesn't reach there of course), but will confirm shipping cost prior to closing the deal. I will pack, ship and provide tracking info within 3 business days after receipt of payment. Please note, raw books seem to be taking a bit longer to ship recently, do bear this in mind if you're in a rush to pick up the books. Graded books are still ok as I pack them in larger boxes and they arrive faster due to parcel sorting. 4. No HoS / PL / IG sheriff list etc 5. Payment not later than 1 week from agreement of deal (be it , PM etc) , unless otherwise negotiated and agreed upon by both parties. I will be open to time payments, but this has to be mutually agreed prior (amount, time period) 6. Returns won't be accepted for slabs, they are graded for a reason. For raws, unless there was a glaring error e.g. missing page, big stain not accounted for, within 7 days of receipt of books, buyer pays shipping.
