Im personally inclined to agree too, taking into account that crease. It looks really nice though, would have otherwise looked like a lower range FN condition to me.

Not sure if I'm seeing it clearly, but is that a subscription crease? Seems to only run through the bottom half of the book. If so I guess that's likely to affect the grade a bit.

I bought in slabbed so I don't have the graders notes..and a bit cheap to want to pay for it just to find out more 😅

I can't actually remember where I bought the book! Possibly through Heritage but not sure

Wanted to ask if anybody's familiar with the Pennsylvania Pedigree? I have a Batman #19 in hand that was graded blue label 6.5, WP copy. My very scant understanding of the pedigree is that for most of the books, a cursive 'P' is penciled on the front cover. My copy appears to have a similar cursive 'P' as well, but in marker. Is it actually possible this book was part of the pedigree?

pence copies are rarer! i have a few in my FF run as well. content is exactly the same, printed off same press, not a reprint. I see them as something unique most other collectors don't have, it's all about the perspective.

#54 (FR) - $160 Cover detached. Subscription crease.

#48 (GD range) - $250 Cover has an approx 7" split.

#45 (GVG range) - $260 Christmas cover. Presents nicely but i had the grading down because of the writing over the front cover. For what it's worth, when I purchased it I was told this was straight from an original owner's collection, but obviously no way of verifying it if it even matters.

#43 (GD) - $300 Penguin cover. Wear and tear along the sides of the covers.

#33 (GVG) - $200 Christmas cover. Dirt across both front and back covers.

#30 (PR) - $180 Missing back cover but otherwise all there. some general wear and tear across front cover. Classic war loan cover.

#29 (GVG range) - $180 Book is generally in tight condition, some tape top left hand corner. Retail stamp on back cover.

#28 (FR) - $160 Cover is all there, but torn into half! Bottom cover is detached. Drawings on back cover.

#27 (G-VG range) - $550 Piece off from the top right hand corner of cover.

#26 (VG range) - $400 Some general dirt on front and back of cover.

#19 6.5 (WP) - $1,200

#17 CGC 4.5 (OW-W) - $1,200. Classic war bond cover.
