  1. Mine was right at about 2 months in G/E/I. So far it has been 4 days in Quality Control making sure all of the pubic hairs are out of the slabs.
  2. Find me on IG (wheresmymarvelvaluestamp) and I can definitely recommend at least 3-4 great pressers depending on your budget. It honestly makes no sense to go with CCS unless you are getting yellow labels. Otherwise, third party is the way to go. I usually pay my presser a few extra dollars a book and he will get my books pressed within 2 weeks. Time is money especially with any type of speculation book.
  3. Probably. Old habits are hard to break. There are so many pressers on Instagram it is easy to find a handful of reputable ones.
  4. Yeah. I am assuming a few more weeks for you. However, I saw several order that were received around 08/12 that already shipped. No order whatsoever.
  5. Thank you 8 pounds 6 ounces newborn infant Jesus! 🙏🏻
  6. I just do not understand the order on how CGC grades books. I have a modern slow 25 book submission that was received 8/3 yet yours shipped that was received 8/25. I am glad you got your books. It just proves there is zero rhyme or reason what they do. First come first server is not how they do things.
  7. My 25 book shipment has the same dates: 6/1 REC and 8/3 SFG. Praying both of our submissions get shipped soon. I have seen a few people with 8/12 SFG that were shipped before ours which is disappointing. No consistency.
  8. You Can't Do That On Television was a great show. My favorite line was "What do you think is in the burger?" LOL.
  9. Understood. Thanks for the clarification. I just didn't want to valuate too low or too high because I believe it affects the price of shipping for US customers.
  10. Greggy, just a question. I see you put max for the valuation for all 25 books. Since CGC uses that when shipping for insurance doesn't choosing the max amount cause your shipping rates to be higher? I know you are a high volume submission guy so I am just wondering.
  11. Modern slow prescreen received 8/3 went to grading today 12/2
  12. Its all over the place. I've seen people who had their stuff shipped the next day and some where it sits in G/E/I for a month. No consistency.
  13. Mine went SFG on August 3rd as well. I am still waiting for GEI. Can you post when yours ships?
  14. They do not update that daily. The fact that it is within a week of today is impressive. It is very possible they are close to being caught up.
  15. Modern pressing TAT is currently 196 business days plus whatever the TAT is for grading. Yes, probably another 5-7 months. Ask for recommendations for a third party presser so this doesn't happen again.
  16. It is truly all over the place. I have seen modern slow that were SFG on 7/23 get shipped recently but yet I hear there are lots of other people who were in SFG in June and earlier still sitting. There really is zero consistency. My biggest submission was SFG on 8/03 so I am hoping they will be graded/shipped before 2022.
  17. Even better reason to not use CCS. For signed books I would get them pressed prior and cross your fingers the artist doesn't screw it up.
  18. For sure. But the main thing is if you are sending to CCS you are basically asking for 3+ months extra to get your books back. I have at least 3 pressers I trust depending on their workload. I usually pay extra to get them pressed in 1-2 weeks.
  19. Thank you on this update. I have a submission that went SFG on 8/03 so I am probably a few weeks behind you. Appreciate it.
  20. I am interested on why you had CCS press them. You easily lost 3-4 months when in most cases you can have a reputable presser do it in 4-5 weeks. There are so many reputable pressers on IG if you ask around. I honestly would only have CCS press a book if it was a signed book.
  21. So funny how there is zero consistency. Obviously your 6/11s should have been graded first. It is so frustrating to see stuff like this.
