  1. Who wouldn't want a 1970s reprint for only for $2600?
  2. It seems like a good number to beat out other bids. Everything used to be xxx.37 (my favorite number) but then someone had a high bid of xxx.50 and I lost, so I upped it.
  3. More Fun 53 - great cover, great character, and I rank Superboy up there with Robin
  4. Wow, last post was 3 days ago. I needs a bump
  5. I was the under-sniper on that I didn't want to bid too high because of the writing on the cover. And before you bid I thought that I found one that no one else did
  6. Detective 143 - I like will take superheroes over Jughead's female problems every day
  7. Mystery Men #1 for me because the right edge of that 'Tec 2 was used as toilet paper by some bum at the end of the great depression
  8. I have a 100 pager (still need to post pic) with a completely loose outer cover. If it was attached I would be a little worried.
  9. Marvel Mystery #2 - Annual isn't too pretty Detective #1 - The 'Tec is too rare and important to pass up and I don't care too much for other set (or know too much about them). Also, the 'Tec is very nice looking.
  10. I always do whatever I want on my own threads.....kinda like it's OK to pee in your own pool Note to self: don't go swimming at Showcase's
  11. I just wish single graemlins didn't count towards post counts (assuming that they do).
  12. Famous Funnies 1 - Tec does look very generic, so I will go for historical issue New Comics 1 - Extensive restoration doesn't sound very enticing, so I will go for the one-of-a-kind high grade NC1 More Fun 54 - Beautiful GA with white pages beats out Thor for me, though on another day I might take the 1st Thor instead
  13. MM 9 - classic superhero comic Detective 30 - cool cover Jumbo 16 - very nice looking pedigree
  14. I would choose those rows also. Action 25 because writing on Batman 6 There is writing on the Action 25 as well. Oh yeah, missed that. Well then, Action 25 has less intrusive writing on the cover.
  15. I would choose those rows also. Action 25 because writing on Batman 6
  16. Nice. How does the inner cover of the Thor look?
  17. Tough one. I think I would go with the Cap run if the first issue was in at least decent shape.
  18. Definately Submariner #3. Uber-grade Superhero trumps pre-hero high grade.
  19. Still Batman #1 over FF #1, though I would love to have both!
  20. Easiest one in a long time: Batman #1 Anything 9.6 or better looks all the same to me and I can't understand paying a huge premium when the next time it could be graded it could at 9.6 or another 9.6 be regraded at 9.8.
  21. Human Torch #1 for me. Very nice looking and isn't missing chunks
  22. Superman Ashcan: extremely rare and much older Sensation 1: high grade first issue starring a character that is going to take off any year now.... Planet 1: cooler cover of a great series
