  2. Being a reader more than single issue collector, I am really missing these: Death of Captain America Omnibus X-Men Inferno Hardcover
  3. Paid promptly for his book...thanks!
  4. Joe purchased 18 pounds of glorious EC library books. He was easy to work with, and can come back and purchase lots more in the future
  5. I'm guessing you can buy for less than 1000 Show them the cash, they've got to take it With the 450 TPBs (assuming the are actually 120+ page Marvel/DC/Image/Vertigo books) you should be able to make a lot of the money back very quickly.

    Gotham

She looks like Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang theory to me. Please tell me you watched her in Firefly.... (If not please exit this forum immediately and only return once you nerd cred has been restored.)
  7. Finally updated CAF with some of the pieces that I have had for a few months now: Green Lantern Corps #44 page 18 (Blackest Night splash) Green Lantern Corps #26 page 16 (Corps vs. Mongul) Dark Horse Presents #138 page 1: Terminator (Frank Teran splash) Dark Horse Presents #138 page 4: Terminator (Frank Teran)
  8. Nice! I remember buying a repackaged collection of Batman 397, 398 and 399 as a kid, which were among my first exposure to Bats
  9. Nice to see some more additions to this thread
  10. It is now opening on a regular schedule again. I had hoped to attend opening weekend, but had multiple family things going on. It is a little sad that the museum currently only has Frank Jr.'s collection, but if you visited before this means you will see a lot of new art
  11. I am looking for Bill Sienkiewicz's art to Moon Knight #9 page 19 (it may be labeled "26" in the corner). I already talked with the eBay seller who sold page 20 and he does not own this page. Any information would be appreciated.
  12. Great buyer with quick payment
  13. Spectre #29 page 19 (1995 - Madame Xanadu vs. Azmodus): Tom Mandrake's inks on his pencils are hard to beat. (Sort of like Gene Colan on roids.) Spectre #29 page 20 (1995 - Azmodus): The next Mandrake page is incredible to behold in person. Both were purchased from our very own Catskill Comics. Green Lantern #13 page 15 (2006 - GL & Arisia vs. Cyborg Superman & Manhunters): This is my 2nd Ivan Reis Cyborg Superman fight page from issue 13, purchased here on the forums.
  14. What a promotion! I actually have a copy of the wedding annual that was given out at that game, along with a plastic bag with Spidey on it and commemorating the event. Jim Shooter has an interesting blog post at http://www.jimshooter.com/2011/09/three-comic-book-weddings-or-holy.html I am trying to remember who dressed up as Spidey...I feel like it was a well known artist.
  15. My first ever cover, purchased from our very own Pirate. Irredeemable #1 Cover on CAF. This has always been my favorite Irredeemable cover and I am very happy to own it now
  16. Just curious, what makes it the grail for you? Personal significance? Character significance? Other?
  17. Picked up this Green Lantern: Rebirth page recently (I love Ethan Van Sciver's detail): http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1089407
  18. Nice, I considered buying that also but just didn't have funds available. (thumbs u
  19. And now you tell us.... I posted details on Jan 27 in the OA Marketplace while it was going on... 1/2 Wrightson Frankenstein Alive Alive sale Shoot, missed it in that old thread Thanks anyway (thumbs u
