Got this at a steal Upgraded my 3.5 copy. The 3.5 will go up for auction next month comic connect.

Nice presenting 6.5 too. 5.5 sold for 75k. Ouch no one should be putting big books in an auction during a recession

Prices are stabilized. The big price hikes were not sustainable. Person who last paid 450k for a 7.5 must be kicking himself now

I guess chipping isn't as much a major factor as staining for buyers when you compare this sale and last in the same grade

Outside of that $55k Ebay sale, starting to feel like maybe the market is pausing just a bit to catch its breath on this book. It has been a rapid sprint over the past 8-9 months. Nice assortment of ComicConnect this month of 8.0, 5.5, and 3.0 to watch......
On a parallel note - a Hulk #1 in 8.0 went for $210k up from a Dec sale of $188k (the 8.5 had the big sale of $270k last year). There is a 8.5 and a 7.5 on this month's ComicConnect auction as well.
The softer prices on the 4.5 and 2.5 I feel had to do with the presentation of the books. If presented better without chipping and piece out, prices wouldve been at a premium as they usually are

Prices are skyrocketing within a few months time so hard to get an exact estimate at the moment. I guess 60k or so range and that's modest as the 2.5 that went for 55 also had chipping

I agree, but at the price I won seems really low for even a 5.0 with interior tape
