I went for it at NYCC 2019 --- if I recall correctly, it was $100 for New Mutants 98 at that time. I'm the original owner of this copy. Check out the story about this signing at: http://collectorsyndicate.com/new-mutants-98/

I'd hope they'd tell you not to waste your money and to throw that copy in the garbage and buy a regular copy.
Thanks for the super helpful advice - - greatly appreciated!!

I recently picked up a copy of Maestro: War & Pax #1 and discovered that it was missing multiple pages. Does anyone know how CGC treats a manufacturer's error like this? Would it affect the grade? Would it not affect the grade, but have the error noted on the label? Qualified or Universal? Any info would be appreciated.
For info on this error, check out: http://collectorsyndicate.com/masetro-war-pax-1-error/
Thanks in advance.

The late, great Joe Sinnott sketched this for me in pencil, on the back of a folded up con flyer back in 1978 and it’s held up. Check out the story behind this sketch at: http://collectorsyndicate.com/then-and-now-with-joe-sinnott/

Three books on their way to Rich for this signing. I wish I had the time and money to send more!!

Here's my copy of NM 98 signed by Liefeld at NYCC in October. I requested the Deadpool custom label while the book was at CGC awaiting grading, This label of course is the source of his current position of not signing for CGC. I'm the original owner of this copy, so thrilled with the result. Check out the story behind this book at: http://collectorsyndicate.com/new-mutants-98/

Awesome stuff!!
I bought the pictured copy of Moon Knight 1 off of a spinner rack when I was 12 years old, so I’m thrilled that it came back a 9.8 following signature by Bill Sienkiewicz at NYCC. Check out the rest of my NYCC mail call at: http://collectorsyndicate.com/nycc-2019-cgc-mail-call/

A bit late (thank you Social Distancing for giving me the chance to catch up), and not really a true unboxing, but here's some of the highlights of the Signature Series books that I got signed at TERRIFICON 2019. While I was disappointed that Perez canceled out of that appearance, and I'm reluctant to send the Infinity Gauntlet 1 to a private signing for his signature and possibly jeopardize the grade, I'm otherwise thrilled with the 3 X signed 9.8. Check out the other books I got signed at that show at:

Keep this thread going by sharing what's new to your collection. I'm looking forward to seeing it all!

Not Signature Series specific, but I'm thrilled to have picked up Fantastic Four 46 "From the Collection of Doug Moench" books that Rich is selling. A unique opportunity to own something from the collection of a significant creator. Check out http://collectorsyndicate.com/ff-46/ for more info.

I happened to be in Saratoga this past Halloween and checked out the fall edition of this show. It was very disappointing - no more than three people selling comics, and they seemed to primarily have boxes of random back issues.
However, if you are looking for kettle corn, or custom leather chaps Those tables seemed to be very well stocked.

Soooo...if anyone knows of any identifiable differences between the polybag UPC and the regular UPC, let me know...before I take 'em out of the bag.
I only have the direct versions and that’s where I observed the difference. I don’t see any obvious differences between the UPC versions. Sorry

I have unbagged copies in both web colors (bought off rack new), so not sure if that's definitive....
Checked my books and my bagged issues have dark purple web and my unbagged are both colors (mostly dark purple)
See if the following provides any clarification based on what you have:

I'll put this here, too, in case someone has an answer:
Soooooo...this may not be the best place to ask this, but do we know definitively how to tell the bagged UPC green from the unbagged regular UPC green...?
I have a couple of bagged UPCs...but I don't want to unbag them and have them relegated to standard UPC copies.
The webbing is colored differently on the bagged vs unbagged versions.

Nice, yeah we did have some similarities. Out of curiosity, have any of your submissions shown up in your account yet?
Not yet, but hopefully soon!
As a point of reference, Signature Series books that I submitted at Terrificon, which was held 8/9-8/11/2019, are marked as “received” 8/22/19 in CGC’s Submission Tracking.
