  1. Rich - I know this is a late ask, but if you have any more of these available I'll take one. No problem if not. Thanks in advance.
  2. We had some parallel experiences for sure!! I have a recap of my Friday posted at: http://collectorsyndicate.com/nycc-2019-friday-signings-and-more/
  3. Heading to NYCC tomorrow (Fri 104). Looking forward to getting signatures from Jim Lee, John Byrne and more!! Check out my game plan for the day at: http://collectorsyndicate.com/nycc-2019-friday-game-plan/
  4. I ordered it as well. I’m leaning towards having one book signed by Claremont (witnessed) and Byrne (unwitnessed) and submitting for the yellow label with green banner. The other books that Byrne signs I’ll either keep in my collection unslabbed, or submit to CBCS for their red signature verified label.
  5. Shazam # 28 -- 1st Bronze Age appearance of Black Adam!!! Opening bid $55 with US shipping included. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153601709965
  6. If you have any remaining availability for this, I'll take one. Let me know. Thanks in advance.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. Definitely some things to think about as I proceed...
  8. The only straight to bag may have been New Mutants 87. This is one of two copies purchased at publication - I sold the other a couple of years ago. The other stuff was likely read and then bagged. Some were bought when I was 7 or 8 years old, so under those circumstances, and without pressing, they graded out reasonably well.
  9. Check out this summary, including turnaround time, results, and some takeaways, from my first submission to CGC. Let me know what you think. Thanks!!! http://collectorsyndicate.com/cgc-round-1/
  10. Shazam # 28 -- 1st Bronze Age appearance of Black Adam!!! Minimum bid only $55. US shipping included!! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153601709965
  11. I’m in the process of consolidating my collection and slabbing/pursuing signatures series on certain issues, and perhaps obtaining or upgrading some key issues of interest. In order to fund this consolidation/upgrade I’m selling certain issues/lots. Please check out the items for sale below. I’ll update as things sell or auctions expire. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for the support!!
  12. The ticketing is further described as allowing five Perez signatures per family. My son is going with me, but we’ll be maxed out at the family five. Currently planning on bringing the following books for the signatures indicated: New Teen Titans 2 (Perez), Avengers 196 (Perez and Rubinstein) and 200 (Perez), X-Men 112 ( Perez and Claremont), and Infinity Gauntlet 1 (Perez, Starlin, and Rubinstein).
  13. Thanks so much for the response! 👍👍
  14. Thanks. I had another copy purchased at the same time, but sold on eBay a couple of years ago. I’ll have to see if I can track down any pics of that copy.
  15. I am the original owner - nothing happened to it post purchase.
  16. I have a copy of New Mutants 98 where there is a partial printed line/streak on the cover running through the Marvel logo and continuing through Cable’s face (see pic). How does CGC treat something like this that resulted from the printing process? Overall grade deduction? Qualified instead of Universal? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
