Really sad news. His 70s work is some of the best art ever done in the medium. He's probably done more of the greatest covers on most peoples lists than anyone else. Had the pleasure of meeting him twice. RIP Neal.

Always wanted one of these. Let me know if you ever decide to sell.

Now Diamond are not paying their vendors. The whole thing could come crashing down in the coming months.

According to a blurb in ArtNet News from Art Market Monitor, it looks like Ian is consignor:
Sotheby’s Sells Rare Comics Online – Looking for some reading material during your lockdown? A collection of some 40,000 DC comics featuring superheroes Wonder Woman, The Flash, Superman, and Batman is on offer in a private Sotheby’s sale. British music producer Ian Levine is the consignor of the comics, which date from the 1930s to 2014. They will be offered as a single lot. (Art Market Monitor)
Which makes no sense because on his twitter he said he sold them 12 years ago.

Really enjoyed it. Clone Force 99 were awesome. Shame there are only 12 episodes. They already had another 4 episodes made in story reel format so it's a shame those are not included.

Looks like the wannabe Bats at the start of The Dark Knight wearing hockey pads. Only way to make it worse would be to add nipples.

Really note enjoying this Might watch one more.

Can't say i enjoyed the pilot. Did not draw me in like the Boys for example. Did not really understand what was going on. Will watch a few more because it's Watchmen and because of Damon Lindelof but not blown away so far.

You mean that was real? I can't believe i had never heard of it before. Thought it was just for the show.

I loved it. Wish it had been longer than 8 episodes. How many issues of the book does the first season cover?
One minor critisism that Americans won't catch is Karl Urban's English accent is just awful. I wasn't sure if the charcter was English or an Australian until it was spelt out and It's not just me a bunch of other people have said the same. Strange considering that he is a great actor who did a perfect English accent in LOTR and a decent one in Ragnarok. It does get better in the later episodes.

And making a movie that targets the China market is box office doom ie Transformers Age of Exhaustion.
Do you sense sarcasm and ridicule in my post?
Ant-Man is no joke until the movies. One of the main Avengers. Ms Marvel has had a long run long before the movies. See comment above about Chinese box office.
Just my opinions. No need to be a dbag.

Anybody ever think Groot would be a merchandising hit or Guardians of the Galaxy would make more money at the box office than Fantastic Four? I guarantee both Eternals and Shang Chi will both do close to a billion at the box office.
Throw those old comic book sales data from the 1970s out the window compared to how big the Marvel brand is now.
Marvel is bigger than Star Wars now worldwide.
God bless Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. I wonder if they knew they were creating the most popular worldwide franchise ever?
At one time these characters were shunned by mainstream, now they are the new rock stars.
Talk about a shocking turn of events these last 25 years.
If a Star Wars movie featuring one of the most beloved characters in cinema can bomb, so can an MCU movie. Shang Chi will do well only because of China but the Chinese have a deal where only a tiny fraction of the BO goes to the studio. Like 10%.

The strengh of the Marvel Universe is they have so many great characters to make movies about. That was DC`s weakness always making movies about Superman and Batman. Look how good the Aquaman and Shazam movies were? I guarantee all those Marvel A list characters will be back. What no one seems to be pointing out is Marvel Phase 4 ends on November 6, 2021. That is only two years. I am sure many A list characters like Deadpool and Spider-Man will be back for Marvel Phase 5.
Not sure you can compare Aquaman (an ever present in the JLA) and Shazam (Huge in the 40s) to Eternals and Shang Chi (who have never been able to even hold down a regular title). I also think one of these upcomming movies will be the first MCU flop.
Did they say phase 4 will end with Thor? I just assumed they only announced the first 2 years of phase 4.

As a life long Marvel comic fan for 30 years they have finally reached the bottom of the barrel with characters I know nothing about. I was even a fan of Guardians long before the movies but the Eternals and Shang-Chi? Bascially a poor man's Inhumans and Iron Fist.
At least they teased Fantastic Four and X-Men. Hopefully they will do something with Daredevil too. These are real proper A-List characters we need to see.

Aw damn
I'm sure you can find it online but spoiler for 2nd post credits scene
SpoilerIt is revealed that Nick Fury in all of FFH is Talos the Skrull. The real Fury is in space. There is also a clue in the movie. Remember in Captain Marvel he says no one calls me Nick? Maria Hill calls him Nick a number of times a she is also a Skrull.

Thought S3 was good but not as good as 1 & 2.
SpoilerDo we think Hopper died? At first I thought he was transported to the Upside Down. The post credits scene in Russia mentions "The American" but that could also be Dr Brenner.

Spoiler
Just realized when Mysterio said Earth 616 I didn't give it a second thought apart from obviously knowing It is the prime comic universe. Then I remembered that MCU is Earth 199999. Since Mysterio was using a fake -script to sell his story was it just a nod for us comic fans or are they calling it 616 from now on.

In the comics she had this fake persona which she used to keep people from seeing the real person underneath... to stop her from ever really getting close to anyone or anyone getting close to her.
Back in the 60's that fake persona was of a bubbly party girl. Here it's more of someone who is a dark, weird moody loner.
But in both cases we come to find that she has a background that caused her to push people away and made it hard for her to get close to people... and when you get through all that noise she's actually smart, funny, and fierce. This really cool woman completely worthy of Peter (and not someone who needs to keep getting rescued as in the previous movie iterations).
THAT'S what I mean. What she looks like.... the fact that she's Michelle Jones instead of Mary Jane.... that stuff doesn't matter to me. Like I said, by the end of the movie, this character felt very much like MJ to me.
Hope that explains it.
Sorry I'm just not seeing it. She doesn't look like her. She doesn't act like her. She doesn't even have the same name. You are saying she is Mary Jane because deep down they both push people away and don't allow anyone to get close.
Hey It's fine. Life would be boring if we all agreed!
I thought the best movie girlfriend was Gwen in ASM 1 & 2.

Such a surprisingly modern and cool take on MJ that cuts to the core of the character ... in a way I never saw coming in the first movie. By the end of the movie she IS MJ in every way that matters.
I really don't understand what you mean by this. Not saying I dislike her but she's nothing like the comic character I remember in any way, shape or form. She's not even called Mary Jane but Michelle Jones.
