Thanks. Agreed, looks better than a 5.5 I almost bought. Chip in back is the reason it got knocked down to a 4.0.

What kills me is when I see some books get a 6.5 or 7.5 and they have handwriting on the front cover like this one.  Higher grade than my little bitty stain for some stranger’s handwriting and personal name. Surprised handwriting doesn’t bring it down more honestly.  

I will probably send it in for a regrade since I want it in a new slab anyway.  Dealing with another CGC issue now...loose internal case inside the slab I just got from them...can see and feel it move around  🤦🏻‍♂️ 

Seller is legit I think. Book complete?  Not sure but nice deal. 

Alright so I sent in my Avengers 1 6.5 to CGC to get pressed and regraded since it was in the old style blue label. I prefer the new case for sure and believe it protects the comic better.

iI just received it today, it ended up a 6.5 still. Some of the slight wrinkles were better for sure because of the press so I was hoping it would be enough to get it to a 7.0. Oh well. 

The real issue is I can feel and see the internal case and comic mess inside the slab. It feels very annoying and I worry about it honestly. You would think for a $6000 comic they would make sure it’s secure.  

What is the process to have CGC re-slab it yet again?  I’m hoping they pay for shipping back and insurance since it costs a lot and this is not my fault. Anyone have experience with this?  I don’t like that the comic moves inside the slab. None of my others do this.  Thanks guys.

I was looking at that today too. Makes sense I guess. There are just not that many Hulks out there. 

I just got mine at a really good price.  Such a great comic and cover and still so cheap compared to other keys. 

Did another deal with a Slappy for some Captain comics. Good seller. Sends plenty of detailed pics.  

I’d like to hear about the find!  Love a good story. 

I think 4.0.  I might be interested in buying too.

Current holder is fine but it’s not the new version holder.  I wish there was an easy way to have them reholder my old holder slabs.  Shipping and insurance cost a fortune.

Well dang, guess that explains it then. Now maybe I can find an AF15 with a similar stain and grade.

Looks like it’s this stain here, above my thumb, missed it originally. Do they really take off that much for a stain because it doesn’t have much else wrong other than spine. It’s very small.  Should I resubmit?

Go for it. I actually bought an 8.5 GSX1 that had never been pressed and sent it in for press and grade.  I’ll post when I hear back this week.  Fingers crossed.  It’s a gamble but fun for sure...just wish they wouldn’t down grade it though...should always guarantee the same previous grade or better IMO but others have gotten lower grades... 

I purchased this book from a forum member here, great guy. I received it and was blown away how nice it looked for a 5.5. The left spine marks are really all I see.  I have some 6.5 slabs and even some 7.5s that don’t look this good.  Curious what you guys think.  Also, do I just send to CGC and ask for a regrade?  Or is there another process?  Thanks guys. Back is fine too, that’s iPad and other reflections.  No tears or stains.  

Anyone have success on a regrade?

I am looking for the super shiny/glossy bags for graded comics.  Are those the Mylar ones?  The link above says they’re sold out so curious which bags you guys get.  Thanks.

Very nice. I notice that about half of these have the bluish circle printing error around his chest.  Some even call it the amulet error.
