  1. I think the buyer had a good look at the spine which is split at the bottom and looks terrible all the way up.

  6. Conservation is preventing further damage, i.e. reinforcing staple areas so the cover doesn't fall off, deacidifying, etc. Everything else is resto and shouldn't be reclassified.
