    I had a good show as far as buying. What I was able to purchase for myself and to flip I picked up below GPA and the guide. What I will echo is the crowds were smaller. I remember walking around on both Friday and Saturday afternoon wondering "where is everyone", and some dealers were asking above GPA and guide on the hot books. I saw a lot of books I wanted to purchase, but some dealers were not willing to work on pricing. Left the show with 50% of what I planned on spending still in my checking account. Going to give a shout out to: Rick, Dale, Richard, Bob, Stephen, Will, Harley, Bill and Earl. They made the show for me.

    In the past certain artists used paint pens that were problematic. Todd McFalrane used a white pen that never really dried, it was always tacky, and was a nightmare to work on. Fortunately, artists rarely use them anymore, so pressing a book with a signature is no longer an issue. Keep in mind CGC does not allow every presser to crack out and submit signature books. Make sure you use someone authorized if you don’t want to wind up with a bunch of qualified books.

    From what I can see from the blurry pictures, the book appears to have issues with dust/dirt shadows, light fioxing and possibly tanning. Higher resolution scans would be helpful, but without them or notes it is more of an educated guess.

    90 day average for a 7.5 is $163.00 90 day average for an 8.0 is $191.00 $28.00 difference according to GPA. Too many color breaks to get to 8.5 which might make it worthwhile.
