  1. Interesting, they show up on my screen and some people are able to view. I uploaded some pictures as "cut & paste" into the text area and some pics via the uploader. I just changed them to all via the uploader, this should fix it.
  2. If you are interested, I am open to offers before pulling them to sell elsewhere.
  3. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! I hope you enjoy this American flag cover as much as I do. I ordered this a few weeks ago and it showed up today, that is just great timing by USPS. :-)
  4. Hulk 181 CGC 9.0 White Pages - $12.9k A nice high grade copy... deep reds on cover, centered cover, white pages. And once again... the colors on this book are much deeper in person, the most accurate color representation can be found in the cell phone shadow.
  5. Hulk 181 CGC 7.5 White Pages - SOLD It took me a while to find this one... deep reds on cover, a thin and even black line down the spine, white pages. Again, the colors on this book are much deeper in person, the most accurate color representation can be found in the cell phone shadow.
  6. WWBN 32 CGC 8.0 White Pages - $4.2k I'm having trouble taking accurate pics to capture the correct color. Colors on slabs are much deeper in person, a more accurate color representation can be found in the cell phone shadow.

  8. I was going to say 3.5 as well & agree on the possible press improvements.
  9. What do you think? How about a "Before Press Grade" and an "After a Good Press Grade"?
  10. yep, i'm interested to know this as well.
  11. Fast forward to 2021... there are now 135 graded copies, 9 of them are 9.8's... and one of those 9.8's just sold for $1400.
  12. Yeah, I got the same promise but never heard back. Had to go through my credit card to get a refund after he said he would process a refund. His phone number was on the credit card charge and he seemed surprised when I called him to ask the status of my order. Even after speaking with him I still had to go through the cc company for a refund. He keeps some comics in a offsite storage that is hard for him to get to and Amazon orders for toys keeps him busy. Wouldn't be surprised if the cc companies cut him off because of all the cancelled orders. Seemed like a nice guy who was overwhelmed on the phone but sometimes nice guys can't run businesses. He said he was looking for additional help but I guess that never happened either.
  13. Problem: Software error causing people issues to have issues entering their books online (myself included). CGC Solution: Give people more time to physically ship the books in? It's not even really for our benefit, CGC is going to be slammed with books and want to space out the surge of submissions. Gee thanks, I guess? That e-mail is about as tone deaf as it gets. This was a major issue when inputting over 200 books. Not to mention I have not received responses to my e-mails sent over the weekend with questions about the submissions.
  14. Sorry to hear your situation, I just lost my father a few weeks ago and agree you need to get something written and in place as soon as possible. I'm down in San Jose and would recommend you basically treat them like a trust and select a trustee to sell the books on your behalf and distribute the funds (or books) as you seem fit. If you would like my local recommendation for a great LCS owner in the Bay Area, PM me as I'm not sure he would want it to be posted publicly. Also, once the Con's come back I'm planning to set up some board get togethers ahead of (and after) the Cons to meet, get a bite to eat and share some of the spoils found.
