  1. Hi. I just attempted to submit a mechanical error submission and found that the submission tool is not working. Please see attached photo of the error:
  2. I received 10 modern comics back last week. 3 of the comics are being pinched by the inner receptacle due to the receptacle being a little too small to safely encapsulate the comic. One book has pinching along the bottom edge (photo: Mech error 2.1), the other has pinching along the top and bottom edges (photos: Mech error 3.1 & 3.2) and the 3rd has pinching along the bottom edge and the right side of the front cover is overlapping the side edge of the receptacle (photos: Mech error 1.1, 1.2, & 1.3). This type of situation is not mentioned in the criteria for mechanical error returns but actually causes physical damage to each of these comics. Please advise if these can be returned for encapsulation. Also, if comics have suffered compression damage due to an error made by CGC staff, would a complimentary pressing be allowed to restore the comics to the condition prior to the encapsulation? Thanks.
