You'll like it And just so you know, the Haunted Tank Showcase is full of SA stories with tons of great Heath and Kubert artwork. Hopefully, they will release a BA edition soon
  6. yes it is, and it's black and white but a cheap way to get a pile of great stories to read

  11. Nice cover on that one.. I wouldnt mind owning a copy That was one of the first 2 or 3 G.I.Cs that i ever read and as a 9 or 10 year old i thought that cover was waaay cool, and still do
  12. Awesome books Sterling! I don't believe I've seen any of the men Of War books graded before, much less 9.8s!

  15. Not quite as cool as the Trooper's books but not bad for $1.99 on ebay
  16. I agree with Shep, I'd equate it more with SHIELD vs Hydra that any of the war titles.
  17. Well then you guys hurry up and finish your collections so that I can get some deals! I always assumed it would take a larger number of people chasing a genre to make it escalate in value so quickly...live and learn (thumbs u
  18. Incredibly sharp colors on that book Andy i wonder if all the attention War books get on the boards these days has effected the wider market? Do the boards have that kind of influence?
  19. Thanks Danny, I could be tempted by the OFF 143 and 144 Severin
  20. I've seen those scans Shep, it's an incredible collection! Thanks for sharing them with us. I haven't even begun to look at pre 1960 war books yet. I did come across a copy of Frontline Combat #5 with some water damage, but it was structurally tight and sound and it was a whopping $20. I couldn't have been happier.I seriously doubt I could even afford a 8 or better copy of that book, so having a solid copy to read was fantastic. So, I guess the moral to these tales is 'in grade' is essentially what makes you happy, or at last that's my take on it (thumbs u
  21. That's why I am content to find these books in 8.0 - 8.5. They're far less expensive and very nice in hand, and very presentable. I certainly don't begrudge anyone buying the HG stuff, I'm quite jealous when I see these beautiful copies on here, but you can still find some really nice deals on some sweet books..thankfully!
  22. Ah, The Iron Major Beautiful book Shep! That's one of the earliest Rocks that I remember loving
  23. Beautiful book Canickus! Welcome to the boards and don't be shy about posting more of your books, we'd love to see em (thumbs u
