  1. Love that book... I'm looking to upgrade! I found a total beater in a nickel box when I was a kid - it was the first time I ever read Enemy Ace. Amazing cover too! Sniffle, honk Shep Good Luck! I was really pleased to find this one. It's in great shape inside and out except for a faint crease from the 15 cent mark to the bottom of the page but i ain't cryin'
  2. If only the good ole LCS had a few more SSWS like this and the 151 I recently picked up...

  7. Excellent stuff Bigfiver! Love thos G.I. Cs. There's a terrific 2 page splash in the 154 that i always loved!
  8. If they look even better than the scans then the 138 is a 9.6 . They look great. I was thinking 9.2 on the first one and 8.0/8.5 on the 1st Unknown Soldier and only that low because of the rlc bend. Thanks John! I'm kinda tough on my grading but I'm certain the 138 VF+ at least, I can't get over how flat and just all round nice they both look and feel and great readds to boot! You can't imagine how many times I've thanked jerry!
  9. they are raw and totally ungraded but I'm guessing 8.5 easy. the pages are white and both are verry nice copies. The feel spinner rack fresh, and they look better than they appear in the scans
  10. I've posted these elsewhere but I thought all you battle mag fiends might like em too...

  14. Thanks John! You can imagine just how psyched and thankful I was. Jerry's a great guy. You wouldn't believe all the stuff he has added to my collection. He upgraded my copy of G.I. Combat 138 so he gets the old one

  19. cool thread, sorry I came to it late but for me, hands down it's Miracleman #15...Miracleman's solution to the Johnny Bate's dilemma totally blew me away. Completely unexpected, and the battle in that issue between MM, Bates and the Warpsmiths was incredible...a must read
