    $5

my back of the envelope calculation is that creators typically get $20-40/signature for CGC SSs. Up to $60-70 for the biggest names. I've got no problem putting $$$ in creator pockets, especially some of the older ones who I don't think were compensated appropriately for their IP that made, and often continues to make, the publishers profit, I can certainly see a creator taking issue with signing for $5 so someone can sell their comic for significantly more than it would have unsigned.

    inscribed to a person

That explains a lot of the signed fanzines and other outside the mainstream books I see for sale. I've been scrounging around for something that everyone doesn't get him to sign for an upcoming opportunity. So far, I have a Spyman #1, but a lot of the rest I can find don't look like great options (dirty or have a significant/noticeable defect).

  3. She used a thinner marker to sign it seems. Looks cleaner than thicker sharpie sigs. This is the first sig book that I have that looks like it was signed with a thin tip marker. Looks to me like the same color as the lips too. I could see that being the last part of the sketch, and she just used the last marker to add the signature rather than swapping for something else. I think you can see how the earlier art influenced the Power Girl design.

    The red sharpie looks great!

I really appreciated how he swapped colors for the different books. I can't tell if the Black Panther red is the same as the ASM red. In hand they look slightly different, but it could just be the background creating an illusion. Regardless, better than having a stack of books all signed in black!
