  1. Ebay's new stupid auto pay. If it asks how you want to pay upfront when you are making the offer you will be charged if the offer is accepted. Two ways around it. Have the seller make one listing for all the books you want. I think if the seller sends a counter offer you will not be charged if you accept. It is a stupid idea and no, you can't opt out as either a buyer OR seller. Trust me, I tried. They are working pretty hard to get that extra 30 cents per transaction.
  2. I don't understand, I typed it all out. Is there a character limit? 2 hrs I could have done shipping, now lost. this forum sucks, or someone is monkeying with my reply's. or you're bad with money AND computers
  3. I hope you included a snarky note about what a box is and how it protects items like this during shipping.

    your google fu is weak
  5. It's a flaw that was never on these new cases until very recently. Something has changed to cause this. And it is unacceptable as it looks like the case was dropped or banged into something to cause the crack.
  6. Side edge cracks. The new newton rings. If you look at it from the side you can see a shallow curved crack.
  7. 100% because of customer issues, either a potential return or discount due to the damage. I had a customer on ebay ask if a book was DAMAGED/still the same grade because the case had a minor side edge crack. Why should I eat it for CGC's mistakes/ineptitude?
  8. I hope they put a check in the box for the difference between a 9.6 and a 9.8
  9. If the CGC stated as part of the grading proces that your new case might have Newton rings, hairline cracks, scratches, scuffs, debris inside, schmutz on the case, etc so be it. I'm paying for a new undamaged product and that is what I expect. Right now, this is what they state: Crystal-clear Display The crystal-clear plastic’s superior optics unleash a comic’s true color and vibrancy. The redesigned label is cleaner and easier to read, showcasing the grade and even more details about the book, and allowing you to easily identify the book from both the front and back. As part of the grading process: Step 6/7 Quality Control A Quality Control specialist carefully inspects the collectible, CGC label and CGC holder. All of the certification details are reviewed for accuracy and the holder is checked for any defects or contaminants. As far as ME's go, I am at a 25% return rate on over 400 books over the past 15 months. And that is not sending them ALL back, on some I missed something or the defect was tolerable. I just got back a 25 ME book sub. Originally ALL of them had a scuffed inner well (looks like someone took sandpaper to it). Four went back AGAIN (three had debris in the case and one had white spots inside the case). The majority of the books have large buffing compound smudges/streaks I have to remove with wax. Over half had side edge cracks. This ME was inspected by COMICS QC #2. What a joke. They can keep doing it until they figure out how to do it right.
  10. Perhaps they can use the price increase for Quality Control.
  11. ME from 2/15 and 2/21 shipped today. Another ME from 2/15 GQC today.
  12. Same issue on a box of 25 Economy from February. Pathetic QC and pathetic it's taken TWO months to go through the ME process.
