  2. Kudos to blue808 and foolkiller for some killer BA books!!
  3. This storyline can only be topped if your check bounces. No, then it goes to the dysfunctional probation thread.
  4. Sucka! Speaking of sucka's and drek, kudos to cd4ever for buying some of mine!!
  5. Holy krapp Roy!!! That is amazing! Got back from NY this morning, having a few drinks tonight and was just plowing thru some stuff to potentially sell tonight. Although I have no scans yet and the wife just said something about 'me' time, whatever that is........ I told her the 'me' time will be tomorrow night at the Foo Fighters concert.
  6. Wow, that book is almost as old as you
  7. (worship) I'll double that (worship) (worship) very nice book!!
  8. Nope, just some IM drek I sent in before the con.
  9. As long as it's stated in the beginning of your thread, go for it. Only a suggestion, but I would see it there are any forum members in your area that might assist in helping you pack and ship your books. Maybe for a free book, a couple of bucks, or some ice cold beer. Ice cold beer. Speaking of which, where the heck is cd4ever's sales thread? Is he pilfering around his record collection? Taking one of those long smoke breaks in the Kansas evening air? He's passed out on his deck listening to "dancing queen" by Abba Hope he manages to dance back to his sales thread ( Because you mentioned Abba, he might try to backdoor some obscure Abba lyrics). I know them all; my folks have all the LP's from when we lived in spain when I was a child.

  14. Impeccable timing I'm counting on all you clowns to come stumbling into your hotel rooms at 2AM, log on, and in a fit of complete drunken confusion, buy everything in my thread. better not post the usual then
  15. Kudos to: Nostalgic Attic for the sweet vampirellas from the March Madness Contest Cd4ever for the usual drek Gilbertotorres for some SA spideys
  16. Could it be because they are listed by a dealer, and thus have a perception of being offered elsewhere first? The "stink" of dealer stock...so to speak. No, that can't be it. Well I sure can't explain it. I have sold many books to board members, but always through PMs. Whenever I have listed stuff in the forum selling section it has been the kiss of death. West Texas tumbleweeds blow through my selling threads. Except for that $25 9.6 Lois Lane issue. That was sweet. It could be that the market here is limited when you take into account what you are trying to sell. I have a few other ideas, but I would be very disappointed if those were really the mitigating factors. That is a very logical explanation that I would have to agree to. Monday on a whim I threw up 4 books on Clink that didn't sell at the VCC, all priced slightly higher than for the VCC. Two sold in about 30-45 minutes at asking price, the other two sold that afternoon at a slight discount (but more than listed at the VCC). The audience in the FS threads here is merely a pimple on the comicbook communitys arse. As far as dealers who sell here, nothing but great experiences (and great deals). I made a logical and intelligent post? I must have been high. Hey, sun shines even on a dog's arse once in a while. Well then I guess you are long overdue.
