  1. Yes, I have dreams of owning the complete Golden Age all in 9.8 white. Such a lovely dream!
  2. There would have be an ironclad contract setup that states, where the book is held and how long to hold it before trying to selling it and for the lowest agreeable price . i.e. sell the book on a <insert date to sell here> with all buyers in agreement at which time, "IF" all parties want to extend the selling date make amendments to the contract before that date happens. I can only seeing this "might" work if this is done. You bought it as group, You listed it for sell as a group on a stated datetime like July 10, 2022 at noon. I'm probably missing a few variables here but this should be the gist of it.
  3. I'm on season 4 now and this show is FANTASTIC! I cannot stop watching this! Season 3 blew me away!
  4. Thanks for the quick response. Yeah those are crazy asking prices. One more and the last question....Do customers ask for CGC books and how well do the ones you get sell? ...take forever?, fly off the shelf?...just curious.
  5. Anybody try to sell you CGC or other grading companies books in 2019 up to present?
  6. Neither do I! I find them very boring. I just wait till it's all over and look up who won online. Nice and simple.
  7. I saw it yesterday and it was just....well.....barely ok..I guess. Felt a little disjointed to me. I knew it was going to be campy but there was too much campiness and stupid in some scenes for me anyway. Some of the fight scenes were ok but the movie as a whole just didn't mesh and flow like it should have. I would give it a C-/C and that's about it. When the movie ended the "few" people (Yes that's right - not many in the theatre) had that look like "We'll that's that, now let's grab something to eat look". This movie should have been a lot better. It just wasn't.
  8. I guess Mary Jane Watson is out of the running here. Looks like Warlock (Him) might be the winner.
  9. I just want to have a good fun time watching a movie...Any movie when I pay to see it at a movie theatre. With work life issues pulling at you all the time, it's nice to get away and "escape" to enjoy a movie (or something else if that is what you like). I do watch high drama movies as well but usually wait until they can be streamed or rented.
  10. Oh Yes, I'm not missing seeing this movie. Margot Robbie is worth the price of admission alone.
  11. I only buy CGC books from Heritage and only "IF" I get lucky because the around 20% juice plus tax is within my bid price. It's been a long time since I won a book from them.
  12. One of these days, I was going to try setting up a local convention for the "fun" of it. I'm not trying to make a bunch of money but if I can recover my cost of setting up like convention fees for the space, food and other expenses which I can't think of right now, I'll be more than fine with that. Main reason is to talk, meet and interact with collectors and dealers and if possible, buy a few books that are on my want list. Just try to enjoy the experience as much as possible. I know there is a lot of work and effort to setting up in which a lot of it is physical. I think it would be a real learning experience being on the other side for a change...in not being a buyer walking the convention floor. I know you have to do a lot of organizing and planning on how to setup to attract folks. It would be just comic books and comic magazines for me. I hope I can make this happen some day.
  13. Well, I know one thing, I won't be buying anything from this seller. Good luck getting your refund.
  14. Just received some X-Men books I bought from Speedcake (Charlie) and they arrived in GREAT condition and looked AWESOME! Tank proof packaging as well. I'm SUPER HAPPY! Super Kudos to Speedcake for this transaction and I hope we can do this again soon.
  15. Never knew there were so many comic covers that show comics. VERY NICE thread!
  16. I'll be watching it for sure. Have a couple of other TV shows in front of it before I watch it.
