I had the honour of meeting Al Feldstein back in 2008 at the Motor City Comicon and we spent a lot of time together and he was kind enough to sign virtually every cover he illustrated from the New Trend. A kind man. He will be missed. I am including some correspondence Al and I had afterwards, as well as the covers Al signed from my collection below for the enjoyment of my fellow Feldstein fans.

  14. All came originally out of the UK with a distinctive stamp on the back cover and they were sold out of the UK originally and then listed by the buyer on Ebay Ontario for an outrageous amount. I negotiated for the books with the seller in person when he failed to realize his asking prices on Ebay accordingly.
