  1. I cringe everytime I see that picture. Something else was going on there. I have a gun safe in my basement with a nearby dehumidifer. I have kept raw comics in there for probably 10 years with no problems. I have kept slabs in there for 5+ years with no problems. Not sure of the specific situation with the safe in that picture but there must have been some other chemicals involved. From what I remember it happened quickly, a 9.8 Hulk 181 no less. Even in a humid environment it would take a long time to get that kind of rust. In summary, I believe safes are safe for your staples. What he said
  2. I like to display my books. My man-cave santuary has NO windows. The light wattage is very low and only goes on when I venture down there.I also use the Eva Dry 333 mini de-humidifiers in my safes (thumbs u

  16. This was purchased at a lawn sale in Northern Ontario about 7 years ago. I had purchased it from the fellow that found it at the lawn sale and had it restored to its former glory: NOTE: there were HUNDREDS of GA comics that he purchased from that lawn and I bought ALL of the books from him. My profit from reselling the rest of the GA not only paid for the MM Annual, including resto, but I also pocketed about a grand on top of that. Thank heavens for lawn sales.
