This Week In Your Plastic Crack, Action Figures and Toy Collection
whisp replied to Buzzetta's topic in Comics General
It was actually not an very impressive pulse. Most I saw was them talking about Crimson guard stuff with the new crimson guard bat and that all that would be the latest of a sub team. Saying it would colour match with Crimson guard and tomax and xamot. -

Should have been Beachcomber! And marauder was ugliest set ever in my opinion. Shows how Hasbro is now. I cant stand that one person on pulse. Im sure you know who. They don't fit in. I watched the chat, tired of snake eyes, tired of exclusives, tired of Canada being left out! -

To be honest I don't know how he would get payed but he has to be getting something. Also Hasbro is using him again and they talked about it today on Hasbro Pulse. Was actually interesting, they made it like the advertisements back in the day of him holding his own joe. He comes with a mini carded Joe lol. -

Never said they paying Hasbro anything. Hasbro let action force expire and he grabbed it. But for Sgt. Slaughter he would have to get royalties for his likeness and his brand. There was a youtube video about it. -

Valaverse bought the trade name Action Force and bought stuff that wasn't renewed by hasbro and had expired and that how he was able to make the ones he does. I assume he also has to pay out royalties for that. -

Yeah there was multiple figures of Slaughter for 3 3/4 figures. But this wrestling one seems hard to find. Its based off the 1985 3 /34 figure. -

Since you mentioned a wrestler. I am always keeping an eye out for the GI Joe version of Sgt. Slaughter at garage sales and flea markets. Does anyone know if that was released in Canada or just a USA release. I don't know anything about those wresting figures. -

Yeah this guy I traded with had a keel haul in his picture but it was already traded or I would have snagged it even though I don't have a keel haul lol. He wants to do an other traded with me since I have three cards he needs but he has 6 I need. He has copperhead, wild weasel, flint, lampreys, blowtorch and deep six. I asked him if he had 6 cards of mine he needed but if not hoping 4 at least because the first 4 I listed would complete all those figures. My blowtorch and deeps six still have some missing gear . But yeah I am hoping to get a few more vehicle driver cards. We just making sure both parties get their first items then if that is all well then will do an other trade. I love trading file cards. So easy to ship and cheap since just put between cardboard and send regular mail unlike trying to trade weapons and gear. File cards already did multiple trades in a couple days. Trying to trade all my weapons and gear is a nightmare since the hoarders, lowballers, people wanting to trade a bunch of common gear for harder to get gear and getting upset. Its a pain -

Need some help on info on this book. (shadow warrior 0 prototype ashcan)

I would have to disagree. 1. it was one individual if my assumptions are correct about what that person did. But there was 3 other people that where also involved in this book. 2. Everything has a value to someone. 3. it did turn into a comic series and any individual that collects that set would want this book which as I mentioned this is one of few that are probably left. -

Styrene. I can make a starting gate and then a finish line. With all that plus all the other supplies and some straight track line. Old supplies from making custom GI Joe bases. I can even make high walls for the start with springs for a fair start. I have some ideas.

I thought it was cool because white with flames. Majority of my characters I like is like Storm Shadow, Moon Knight, white Boba Fett and so on. That Japanese car set with the white suburu wrx sti is cool. I just want one Wrx STI and prefer blue with the rally logos.

Which one?

Went to the local comic store and looked at some redlines but nothing I had when I was a kid was there. Went to clearance section and found these. Now I have some Batmobiles to race once I get some straight track. Hope they make a Moon Knight car.

I was actually watching some youtube videos on hot wheels that week and this guy goes to like all the dollar stores and such and gets them to open boxes and he goes thru the ones on the shelf. Seemed it was only specific chase ones he was searching for. I have no idea if mine was an actual chase but it was the only one out of 100's of them and it was numbered differently so I grabbed it. Total impulse buy since I was there for tea towels and gravy lol.

I had quite a few hot wheels when I was a kid with track and the gas station and such. No idea where they are. I was at the dollar store and saw this and grabbed it. Its my only Hot Wheel.

Tried contacting some of the guys on the back of the book but no replies to try and find out print count. Does anyone know who the ashcan expert is on the boards? -

You buy it separate but Optimus can drive around with it and it transforms not just trailor but upright to a base. Also control the buggy with your phone app.
