  1. Congrats Ronaldo. What's the grade on the More Fun? (Pic is too small.)
  2. You got some 'splaining to do here.
  3. My son got his first jam piece this past weekend at the SoCal comic con. He most likes the Cap and Yoda. Here he is with J. Scott Campbell and the finished piece...
  4. Thanks for taking the time to keep this up-to-date. It is greatly appreciated.
  5. I maybe seen only 2 or 3 of those Shadows. I like the colors. (How does that guy eat, anyway?)
  6. I sold this copy last week, josh was just reporting the sale...it was listed sold (thumbs u Congratulations.

  8. Great picture Ben. I agree, the run of cover art there is spectacular.
  9. These are great. Thanks for sharing. Maybe four years ago, I was at SDCC and got a sketch from Carmine. While he's drawing, we talked about how his Flash evolved. I was curious about his 80's version, when he returned to the book. He said the change was in the mid-60's as he was pushing the new look DC. So, I'm not sure of the timing without going and digging in my boxes, but it seems that maybe issues around 168 were turning points for his approach on the Flash.
  10. Wow. Great pics. Thank you for sharing. Now, I just have to ask... I don't think I have ever seen a comic shrink wrapped in this way. Why not just a mylar and fullback? And, how do you shrink wrap it...heat?
  11. Speaking of Flash Comics, I haven't added to my Flash Comics collection in over a year. Coincidentally, BillC had this low grade with no back cover available. Fits perfectly in my low grade/restored collection. So, I picked it up. Thanks Bill.
  12. Love that cover (thumbs u Me too Nice pick-up. I have that exact same issue, purchased from you Bill.
  13. Jay, that looks awesome!! What are the dimensions? Thanks Peter. It's 18 x 24. If you guys are gonna keep all the high-grade goodness to yourselves, I need this as my consolation.
  14. Thanks Ben. btw - my son in the pic is "Robin" in my avatar. I think it's time to update.
  15. While I wait for my NA18 from Ben to arrive, here is the poster hanging up in my sons room.
  16. That's still an impressive collection. Any pre-Superman Church book is a great find.
  17. 18 is still my favorite. I have a big poster of it hanging up in the bedroom. Not my bedroom. My wife wouldn't allow it. My sons'.
  18. I love those Church books. Thanks for posting Peter. I find the life in this thread ironic when you consider the comments posted in one of Mitch threads about pre-Action 1 desirability.
  19. as my run will only consist of issues 12-39 my only contribution to your request is this beautiful #14 That's what I'm talking about..... Here's a book you don't see every often...beautiful.....thanks for posting Swapto!!!!! Looks better than the label says. Where's the group shot?
  20. Is rarity (and the Action 1 ad) really that critical when determining value on these two that closed tonight: New Adventure Comics #18, CGC Universal 3.5 = $638 New Adventure Comics #26, CGC Universal 1.0 = $7,956
  21. One of the dumbest moves I made in this hobby the last few years was selling off my nice mid-grade NA 18. So tonight, I followed sound advice to MAN-UP. Seriously. My bid was at double Overstreet. Thankfully, it didn't get anywhere near that.
