Apparently I am a little late for the party. I should have looked back a couple pages.

Doh, I am always the bridesmaid never the bride! I missed on all my bids Kagemusha.

Did anyone besides golddust win any of those war books on the ebay two days ago? I think the sellers name was Zilla something or other. Anyways, he had some nice looking war books as well as other DC raw that went for some pretty high dollar amounts considering how they were advertised. I got a few but regret not going crazy on those books.

Who snagged that big, expensive lot of GICs awhile back? I remember it has quite a few HG issues in the 100 range, including a smoking copy of 104.

I did. The only good thing I've done in my life.

 

What were the grades and what did you pay? Just curious (and jealous).

I think the pile of books (15) cost about $325. I also believe the 104 might get a 9.2-9.4 and the 99 and 100 are each at least 9.0's. The rest are between 6.0 and 7.5 really. I also bought a pile of OFF isues off the same guy for $120.

Two more recent greytone purchases. The OFF 20 has great colors and the cover art is just incredible. G outdid himself on this one.

 

 

I tried to buy the original art to that OFF 20 but the seller wouldn't budge. My dream art.

This is the HOM page I bought in 1990 or so for $30. I had it stored at a friends house for the last few years, and just had him send it to me so I can enjoy it again. If only I could find a few more of these Tanghal splashes!

Comick1. I have never seen any of those and while I do have pre-Rock OOAW's I obviously need to get more. I'm going to find a 79 now on that recommendation! Great books.
