  1. Rumor has it that a HC trade is coming with the back story that was on the letters pages, as well as other cool stuff And the Registry Set is LIVE!
  2. Just read #11 which is a faster pace than the others. And a little tidbit for #12:
  3. +1000!! It's a bit of a 'slow burn', but it's amazing watching the world unfold, and every issue leaves me wanting another 22 pages pronto
  4. ***[POSSIBLE SPOILER]*** Fun fact about the back cover to issue 9: That was NOT done with Google Translate or any other software; Trautmann actually found someone that was fluent to make it 'real' (thumbs u
  5. If you noticed in the back of the letters page today in issue 9, they are moving to a 5 week schedule, which should be doable with the extra support the book is getting in various areas. The second trade is close to completion, and the combined arc hardcover will be amazing with lots of extras; can't wait!
  6. This is interesting because I've seen mention of him stopping Lazarus from various people on other forums as well. At current he has Lady Sabre and a small project for another publisher, which is not monopolizing his time. Keep in mind Greg is one of the four writers that worked on DC's 52, which was a huge undertaking at being a weekly comic, all while plotting a novel and working on various other projects. Greg would LOVE to continue Lazarus for many years, and has no intention of stopping it anytime soon.
  7. I can't believe we have to wait TWO MONTHS for issue #5!! By then I should have the entire series and the backstory memorized
  8. Agreed, I was on the fence after the first issue but the second issue sealed the deal for me. The icing on the cake was the timeline in the columns of the letters page: Being a fan of Rucka's I know he has always done a great job fleshing out his stories, but if he put THAT much thought into the world, people, environment, and characters I can't wait to see the twists and turns he has in store.
  9. This was my first, and hopefully not last purchase from Dre. As soon as we realized a shipping error had been made he fixed it within an hour and I got my books within two days. How someone responds when things don't go perfect says a lot about the person, and he gets a standing from me
  10. Cool books Tim, nice to see you back in the buying habit!
  11. Kudos to nearmint for making the sale of my Captain Marvel Adventures quick and painless (thumbs u
  12. Maybe it will drown out the "voices" the ones that are always saying "acquire adamstrange's collection by any means necessary, acquire adamstrange's collection by any means necessary, acquire adamstrange's collection by any means necessary...."? no way. It won't drown out the voices that say "Billy, your wallet is empty! Billy, your wallet is empty! Billy, your wallet is empty!" either. then how is he paying me for the tec 27 I just sent him That is between you two... I'll be on him like a on the cgc boards Don't feed the
