  1. I say keep the whistler and juggler and the big ones can go. Although @ADAMANTIUMuses the big cheers a lot.
  2. Me Hold the phone! @NewWorldOrder Did they ship today?
  3. This is from the article posted yesterday… ”Importantly, CGC has also taken a number of steps to ensure an adequate supply of holder parts while many companies struggle with supply chain disruptions. This includes investments in additional holder production capabilities and paying premiums for expedited shipments.”
  4. Thanks @NewWorldOrder All 100 of your beautiful Moderns were encapsulated and shipped the SAME DAY! Looks like you will need some extra room for your shiny new slabs soon! Oh well. I have a 7/29 Modern that’s been getting dusty in Sarasota that might make it home before that 6/18 order It now appears that the grading rooms have been separated by month and they keep avoiding the June room! But HEY! That July room is gettin kinda empty looking, let’s do those first!
  5. Now if they could Encapsulate the books as soon as they are graded. PLEEEZZ! Seven weeks since my Modern June 18 order was graded. CS says it’s being Encapsulated now. Lets go to a live look in of the encapsulation room…
  6. If CGC is being that analytical about which subs to take first then most of us ar SOL. Besides, don’t they have more important stuff to be worried about, like when are they going to schedule Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner for a SS event?
  7. It hasn’t happened often lately but I did get a box back from CGC this week
  8. Got some new bronze on Friday. All great covers! Big John Romita Ross Andru Neal Adams
  9. @CGC Comics @mnelsonCGC What is this supposed to be? This is a microcosm of the last 6 months for all of us Thanks @lonetree
  10. I’m not sure if this is for us to use or CGC but… I couldn’t resist using one of the new emoji’s
  11. That’s awful. I assume this is not from shipping damage.
  12. My post offices, regional and local lose and damage too much stuff to use them. UPS is Ok but they delay everything for every reason. So I go with FedEx and use shipandinsure.com
  13. Well somebody’s got to fix them when they get there or…I don’t know…how about don’t crack them in the first place!
  14. To clarify…CGC QC supposedly checks the slabs before they are shipped back. That’s what I meant. I’m sure they will re-slab the books as a ME but that requires a lot more work than if they were rejected going out the door.
  15. I received an order of 6 moderns back today. Four of the six cases have a small pressure fracture on the bottom inner edge of the case. They look to be in the same place as @Galen130fractures. My fractures are no more than 3/16”, but shouldn’t be there. I think there was too much downward pressure applied when sealing the case. But what I’m really unhappy about is that three of the books look like they were manhandled during encapsulation. They now have significant spine creases that must have occurred after grading. One is a 9.0 Avengers Annual 10 that wouldn’t be graded that if the damage was before grading. I have before photos that shows they didn’t look anything like they do now. It took four months to get these completed and returned and now they don’t even look like the grade on the label. I just put them back in the box for now. What a joke! I will take pics and post them tomorrow.
  16. I think CGC accidentally opened a portal to the upside down and a palette of submissions from June were pulled in. Now they have to wait for Season 4 of Stranger Things to start so they will show up again. Best I can come up with
  17. Then I have this submission… Modern - 6 (TAT - 101 days) Delivered to CGC (FedEx Exp.) - 07/01 Received/SFG - 07/06 (D + 2) G/E/I - 10/26 (D + 80) Graded - 10/26 GQC/Shipped - 11/1 (D + 84) Delivered - 11/3 (D + 86)
