  1. Do they own or rent the warehouse? Rent equals cost of space
  2. So i was working on cataloging my collection with a web app when i came across something that i totally forgot i bought when i was a teenager.... I think i paid 30 bucks for it in 1993!!!!
  3. Man i missed the part that this became a "I love my toaster" thread....
  4. How many of these companies have there manufacturing in China? Like everything else we buy. I hope that changes as a learning lesson from Corona. Time to stop buying 20 dollar toaster ovens that we throw out every 2 years and pay 40 for the USA made one that lasts 5...
  5. No company stocks a years worth of anything.... 1 your tying up alot of capital in one thing that could leave you short for other immediate thing... 2nd storage. Space when your paying rent by the square foot becomes an expense as well.
  6. maybe u can send them in for a discount on future slabs...
  7. im going to assume that they are made in China. Incoming shipments from there a severely impacted. Just curious. Unless they are made in the good ol' USA...
  8. a 10.0 wolverine 1... only 3 of them exist
  9. thats what i assume that they would do... in an email response they told me i would need to create 2 order forms for both artists for the one book. i am waiting on the money question
  10. damn... I guess its frank miller only for me. I assume his is harder to get than claremonts
  11. I emailed customer service about it waiting on a response but if anyone else knows.... Do they charge u the full price for more than one sig? for example wolverine 1 i want claremont and miller... does that mean i am paying about 240 to do that? each of the artist price has grading and slabbing in the price. you are only grading once and slabbing once? will there be a price discount?
  12. I tend to be honest, which THAT seems to be a good thing here. But I guess NO ONE IN HERE have done anything wrong or tried to get one up on the competition, right? I really hate holier than thou people... Because NO SELLER has ever overstated a condition on a comic... right? SOOOOO many raw self declared 9.8 books on ebay.... Why buy slab books then???? This may come as a shock to you but I do not care what you think of me. I can admit i am not an angel... Im over 40, wasn't born an angel and definitely not going to die an angel. But i still like my chances when i get to st. peters's gate. Cheers
  13. I am envious of your definition of what "affordable" is....
  14. For when its time to sell a book on ebay... why bother with a description? just take as many pics as you can and let them do the talking. I have sold electronics before on ebay and i would send them the pics that i took with the product as well as a note that i took a pic of the serial number as well to prevent fake DOA claims. (i have scammed myself with the "this dont work and send back my defective peice" routine so it takes a con man to see a con.. )
  15. And the poster does have a valid point by the way, one that i would agree with. just not on this movie.
  16. careful accusing people of stuff like that... the mods will hit you.
