  1. Last time I’m offering this book before I close this thread. $1325 shipped!
  2. Standard rules apply: I’ll consider offers, but first gets the book! This trumps previous negotiations unless both parties have come to an agreement, at which time I will close the book. No probation or HOS boardies allowed. I’ll be accepting PayPal, Checks, Money Orders, or Zelle. Shipping is $15 for slabs within the U.S. territories only. International buyers, please inquire about shipping. No returns on CGC graded books. $1650
  3. If you’re looking for vintage books, I’d recommend HeroesCon or Baltimore Comic-Con.
  4. I should’ve clarified from the start that I no longer own it, but yeah, I absolutely loved it having it! I ended up getting that book when I was 19-years-old. Imagine being my age and owning a book like that in todays market. I didn’t care about the grade. I just cared about having the book as long as everything was there, and of course, affordable.
  5. Buy what you can afford. I took that advice and ended up with a pretty beat up AF #15. Complete and unrestored too.
  6. Picked this up at HeroesCon ‘23. Plus it’s my first Timely as well.
  7. Out of curiosity, is there any reason as to why it took so long to take action against them? There’s been multiple threads about in just a few short years.
  8. In all honesty, even though they’re a bit sloppy at what they do, they still get the job done.
  9. Well, damn. I don’t know what else to say.
  10. Something I’ll probably never end up doing. But it would be cool to flip through an actual Superman #1, or an Action #1 for that matter.
  11. The #3 has a such great eye appeal. Congrats on the pickups!
  12. In case anyone here wants an update. I got my refund of $126 back after 3 years.
  13. I thought the book was going to Heritage. Whoops. I saw the listing on eBay and $45k is a pretty high asking price. $20-25k seems reasonable for it.
  14. This is probably my favorite AA cover, besides #61. But also, here’s a little fun fact. If you look closely, you can see that his ring is on the right hand instead of the left. I’d say the hammer price will be around $25k.
  15. I was flipping through the HeroesCon 2023 program book and saw that Thomas was mentioned. Definitely a great way to honor him!
  16. $72k for a 1.5 blue label seemed a little low to me as the book doesn’t come up often. But still a solid hammer price. It’s most definitely an underrated book IMO. I owned a 2.5 at one point and absolutely loved that book.
