5.0 to 5.5.. not sure what. C&P will do
-
2.0

Yeah, I missed the rusty staple and migration. This was listed as a 7.0 at an auction. I am trying to return it. My bad in a way,I trusted the company and did not inspect the pictures too closely.

Oops, yes this is 46, not 56. Also, was advertised a bit higher.

PGM Four Color 327
Bayowolf replied to Austin James Kelly's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
5.0..but bet if you had it graded ..you might even get a 6.0. I think they (CGC and CBCS) give extra slack to Golden Age comics.. -
-
9.2 ..due to that scratch and color breaking wavy line from spidey's upper hand to behind his shoulder, also notice a slight dirty line about 2 inches from edge
-
6.5 to 7.0

3.0

Got another oldie ASM. Complete, pages are tanning at edges, but balloons white otherwise ,cover is loose, small piece of tape inside top staple. Lots of wear and a few chips out. .

Amazing Spider-Man 194
Bayowolf replied to CMHOWELL1191's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Is that possibly a Distributor Stripe? Thats color brushed on by a distributor for coding. According to Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics such a stripe is not a defect. If so it my be a 9.0. -
Amazing Spider-Man 194

Will cleaning take that red out? With that in, blunt at corner and I think a bit of spine wear (need close up of spine to be sure), IMO 8.5. -
PGM Dark knight returns #1 Grade is in!
Bayowolf replied to Frankielo's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
I was ready to say 9.6 before I saw the grade..honest! -
Thanks.

8.5 to 9.0, press will take out that bend, but only raise it to 9.0 to 9.2 ..hard to tell need better scans/pics. Don't use white background for white covers.
-
6.0 due to tanning. This issue is still worth slabbing though. Suggestion..Take pics with a solid background
-
8.5
-
This also has a small piece of tape at cover bottom corner and half way up spine - both on inside of cover. Thanks.
-
Back has some soiling and cover upper left corner, but besides that looks good as far as I can tell w/o closeups. 8.5 to maybe 9.0
-
It's a crease.

PGM Amazing Spider-Man 40
Bayowolf replied to BoogieWoogie's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
2.0 at best.. I too have gotten burned on getting batches of comics, but sometimes you do get some good ones in a batch. Its a gamble. -
These scans are in the comic bag and boarded. the white seen at top corners of cover are from tape at corners of bag not comic The cross-hatching or checkerboard seen in background is an artifact of the scanning..it is not seen on the actual cover. Not sure why this appears , don't see this on other scans. Perhaps because the original background is this gray. Complete, off-white pages. Thanks

Bayowolf replied to MPH1964's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Thanks for the Welcome..James J Johnson.. -
New to this forum, as of yesterday and appreciate grades I got. Here is another - Avengers 30 from July 1966. Spine creasing and wear. Pen date written on cover. Creases on corners. Back has sun shadow, but other than that I think back is good. Inside pages off-white. Complete.
