Mmmmmmmm, a 9.6 featuring two of my favourites, the Elongated Man in his original costume and the Pied Piper! Fabulous!
(thumbs u
Now here are scans of my Flash books with cover appearances by the nefarious Mirror Master:
Hepcat,
That's a great mini run with Flash #105! I recall that Flash 146 was my first Flash purchase, once I began actively collecting in the late 1990's.
-
I have always admired the cover for Superman 132, with the purple and yellow lettering of "SUPERMAN" and the black background. That's a true classic cover. (thumbs u
I found Superman #147 in the back storage room of a drug store that also sold comic books several years ago. There were two long boxes that evidently had not been searched for a while.

Heres a book that " screams " for an alternate title. I left this one in the bag while scanning, hence the wavy lines in the middle.
"We fought the ants and the ants won"
Seriously though, I like this book, but only have a couple of issues of this title. ... so far.

Here are scans a few more of my Detective Comics:
Hepcat,
Awesome books. (thumbs u I recall seeing #309 at a LCS a few years back. It was really low grade however, so I never did pick it up.
I picked this book up at a LCS in the early 2000's, they had it hanging on the wall and priced very reasonably.

Hep Cat, excellent choices. (thumbs u If I had to narrow it down, and just to book's I own, my favorite 3 would be 134, 121 & 142.
Note; the passenger in the truck is glancing up at the action scene.

Here are scans of my books featuring the dastardly Top on the cover:
The villainy of the Top should never be underestimated. After all, this was the fellow willing to blow up half the Earth in order to rule the other half until foiled by the Flash in issue #122!
Hepcat,
You have many of the S.A. Flash keys. Can you name your favorite 3 or 4 issues, key or not?
-
Speaking of low grade books. This cover literally "rocks". This book has a terrific 3-D effect, but mainly for the floating street chunks.
Cover by Kirby, story artwork by Ditko.
-
Heres a great Kirby cover and story from 1961. Tales to Astonish #23 September 61.
If only Moomba had been a yoga instructor, instead of being intent on world domination.
-
Flash #134 My favorite Flash issue with Captain Cold on the cover
I just mention the villians boot and slippers, but neither are visible in this cover.
-
Billc I groove on those Atomic Knights. I will have to keep an eye out for more, only having a few of those issues in my collection.
Flash #140 November 1963
This comic reminds me of my home state, with the extremes in weather, that is.
Anyone notice the flash villians normally seem to have either boots or slippers on?
-
Flash #132 November 1962
I seem to recall a few covers where the flash has a weight problem
-
Sweet book! Don't leave home without it.
-
Hepcat,
Your #113 really ROCKs, mines all shot up. It was ultra cheep though.
I will have to be on the lookout for #95, what a "CRUNCHER" of a cover.
-
Hepcat,
I had also noticed the drop off in art quality of the S.A. Flash. I don't think I have very many above issue #150. Nice RUN of Reverse Flash covers.
I do have a few from the Bronze age though.
Flash #142 February 1964

AdamStrange and Atlas fan,
Those early Fly books are great.
Thanks I have one more for you.
Tales to Astonish #20 June 1961 Pencils by Jack Kirby
This book is in my personal top 10, in my collection.
-
Tortoise,
I say "son" now those are too cool books.
Brave and The Bold #23

Nice listings E.S.
Superman # 89 1954
E-lad
-
Strange Tales # 68 April 1959
I like the Marvel Pre-Hero era. This one just arrived yesterday.
I will have to do some digging, I know I have some books in better condition somewhere.
-
Great B&B 36 beaumonts
This book is in pretty "rough" or fair condition. I have nicer books, but have to start somewhere.
World of Fantasy # 17 April 1959
Pencils by Jack Kirby - I ran across this at a LCS a few years ago, and decided to rescue it from the long box that held it captive.
-
Mr TRMOORE,
Congrats on your new aquisition. I must agree that cover "ROCKS".
-
Nice Strange Tales trmoore54.
Tales to Astonish # 23
My other co-favorite TTA, of books that I currently own.
-
Bunky Brian,
This early TTA and TOS are some of my favorites. It's really a treat to see them in that kind of awesome condition.
The larger scan of the book I used for my avatar.
Tales to Astonish #20.

While we are waiting for Cheetah for more info on the run of Space War beauties, I have a late GA WW. This is low grade, but I found it at a very affordable price a few years back.
Wonder Woman # 83 July 1956 (second to last GA WW)

Awesome book (thumbs u
Tales to Astonish # 34 Aug 62 (Kirby & Ayers) It's hard to imagine being threatend by a "Green Thumb", unless its drawn by Kirby.
Waves in scan due to comic in bag while scanned.
