    for what it's worth, two entry level MC1s recently sold privately and at a con: one was well over $40k+ a point and the other was an entry level copy for just under $40K.

    4 is vastly underrated (as is the 2 - 1st round shield) and you get the first pin up on the back cover. After that, I skip to 26-37 for the better Schomburg covers (32 and 34-36 are non Schomburg covers). 33 is my lone favorite of that run. 34 has a nice full centerfold of Cap in battle.

    Without a doubt. It was amazing Moldoff met Bernard Bailey when he was a youngster. Bailey was his neighbor in NYC and saw him drawing images of Popeye on the sidewalks with chalk. Bailey mentored him and connected him with DC and the rest was history - the best Hawkman and Batman ghost artist there was.
