Schedule for grading - 6/24/22...marked Received - 6/21/21...

Happy Anniversary to me! "Received 6/21/2021"...not a word on them.

Marked "Received": June 21, 2021.

Marked "Shipped": June 15, 2022 for 1 of my three submissions lines. One of them is marked as "Grading/Encapsulating" while the other still says "Line item detail is not yet available". Will I hit 1-year? Who's excited?

Ooh!! 10 days until I hit my 1 year mark from "Entered". Not a peep from CGC. So excited...

Oh man, if Laird came out of retirement to do a signing, can you image how much CGC would break? Everyone who just got their Eastman turtles back would slap a new label on them and ship 'em right back. Just look at what Eastman's signings did to TATs and backlog!

Signing for Fleecs and Forstner - signed on 11/30, shipped today.

Finally made it back down to the Very Disorganized Shop in the next town over and made a few long term spec plays. Only made it in about 2 hours before closing so I didn't even get to touch the unsorted longboxes which is where I bet the real gold is hiding. Ghost Spider #10 is the first time Gwen names herself Ghost Spider I think. And the other two are the first solo titled as Ghost-Spider. Grabbed a few for cover. IMO if they do bring Spider-Gwen into the MCU way, way down the line it'll be as Ghost-Spider. Or if she gets a spin-off cartoon after Spider-Verse... don't think she'll ever be in anything titled Spider-Gwen on TV or film. ASM #437 is the ToyBiz reprint. Never seen one in great shape and this one is no exception but happy to have it. I've already said how much I love Yara Flora in this thread... that's the 2nd print of her first app. New cover, DC fans seem to like these design variants that DC has been doing. Maybe Yara pops and MAYBE fans care about the 2nd print. Maybe. Hawkeye #7 is the first appearance of Eleanor Bishop, Kate's mom. She's confirmed for the Disney+ show but will she matter? Will fans like her? Hopefully she's the next Agatha Harkness and I can sell these for $40+ each in a month or two, those might pay for the whole trip  

I don't think Brzrkr's going anywhere beyond cover or less...way over hyped/produced. Anybody disagree? I'd love to be wrong.

Still holding out for Brian K. Vaughan, Neil Gaiman and Stan Sakai. I know Vaughan is at Baltimore coming up. Any handlers willing to take (far too late) submissions? I'd also be interested in Cliff Chiang. If they could get Peter Laird - can you imagine the backlog, considering what Eastman did? They'd make an absolute fortune (again).

Could not be more pleased with these! Especially the #4...it went up from an 8.0!

One of my two shows 5/5/21 and hit GQC on Friday...so I feel they're making good progress! The one I REALLY want back, though, went SFG on 5/10...We're almost there folks!

Have they ever done a signing where such a large percentage of the submissions are magazine size? I mean, all of the Last Ronin submissions are magazine, in addition to the original Mirage. I imagine this case was unique in their experience so not being able to anticipate the bottleneck is understandable. That said...I'd really like to get my Mirage books back!

I'm looking for somebody to help me get some issues signed. I know there are people who I can ship comics to who take care of "official" signatures. I am not looking for graded/signed issues.

Anybody have a hook up for getting CGC verified Sakai signatures? I keep seeing them pop up on ebay. I know he did a signing with "the other one" a while back. Any plans for him coming to CGC?

what now? I gather it'll be another three weeks before they actually ship out. When that happens  does CGC let you know what your grades are, or is it strictly do you know when you open your package?

They'll post the grades and comments (if applicable) as soon as they mail it. If you're impatient (like me), you'll check and peek ahead. If you enjoy suspense, wait until the box arrives.

Three books into G/QC! The remainder just moved to SFG. Progress!

Some of mine just did too...but the one I REALLY want back is still "received". Glimpses, yes...but still...this wait for the one is hard!

Anybody WITH a press have a status beyond RECEIVED? I have a few books out and was curious if there's a notation in the dashboard to indicate that they've moved onto pressing from signing or if we just get a notification after press.

My status simply shows RECEIVED as of 1/28/21. Does anyone else who is waiting for books have a different status than RECEIVED?

I am a patient man, but would love greater clarity about the remaining turnaround time and whether steps will be taken to expedite any of the books that had to be taken to Kevin.

Does anybody know if there is a way to check the signing status of books that are due for a press as well? I know the press adds 3 weeks post signing. I'm wondering if my books are in the second wave of signing or if, somehow

Thanks, all! So, I can be "not surprised but somewhat disappointed" with a 6.0 and "shocked and elated" if above a 7.0...all assuming no surprises.

Press would help with visual appeal, and that would be worth it to me. I know a press won't do a bit of good with the color breaks! Thanks for your insight!

These are photos from the seller. I don't have others. The first picture is a weirdly angled front at least? They might be giving me more pictures today. I asked about "missing/torn pages" and was told "no" and "I can send you some more pictures tomorrow".

Hey folks, I've come across a mid-grade Albedo 2. There are a few defects, including a CB dent on the cover (lower left) and some spine breaks. Inside seems good. What grade do you think this could achieve with and without pressing? I'm trying to figure out what would be fair to offer a seller.
