  1. This thread is amazing. Im currently pooling all my loose change just. Just in awe.... Bravo.
  2. What is your estimate? Thanks for the comment! I do love this book. First big book I ever picked up.
  3. Did you end up using their service. Im curious as I was thinking about trying them out too. Mostly because I wanted to try the CGC grade prescreen service. Where you send in 25 books and set a grade for a floor and they only grade and encapsulate the books that pass a prescreening. I was thinking of sending him the batch first; prescreen himself, press what he thought needed pressing and leave the rest alone. Then send them in for the CGC service, the thought process was that this would leave a higher rate of success. But I dont know if that possible.
  4. Purchased a Crow#1 from him. He shipped fast from abroad and is easy to communicate with. Do not hesitate to do business with him. Thanks!
  5. Its like you were trying to feed the Chihuahua.
  6. If youd still like to sell this and want to give a jammie jam stain, let me know. I am a peasant anyway.
  7. Thanks, hoping I can get a couple more opinions.
  8. Howdy all, I have some opinions but I wanted to throw it up here before I sent it out to CGC. Try and estimate the grade. Also try and estimate if this would be dinged for "restoration" there's clearly some black sharpie that bleeds through, but Ive seen some older books like this just take a grade hit and still get the blue label with sharpie that could have been did by a kid years ago, instead of a professional comic restoration color touch.
  9. Purchased my from Eric and was probably my first deal on CGC forum. He was great at communication and we worked out a price on a book and everything went smooth from there. Excellent experience and look forward to dealing with him again.
  10. I worked out a multiple book trade with Paul. It was my first big trade ever and first on the CGC Board. He was class act throughout the entire process. Really a positive and smooth experience!
  11. So i may be lost in the gray areas of the conversation...but are you saying that you believe you get higher grades through direct submissions instead of submitting to an LCS? Why would you doubt the grades of your books submitted through an LCS? Also if you send them to a presser who can then forward them to CGC with a dealer discount?, whats yalls opinion on that? Or get them pressed and have them sent back to you then you submit yourself after pressing.
