Here are a few Fangos from my teenage years. These things were not collectible to me. These were research. I was planning to be the next Tom Savini, and I lived and breathed Fangoria. I also have a first print copy of Grande Illusions somewhere. My daughter (also a Savini nut) might possibly have it because I can't find it anywhere. Good times...

That is a file copy to be used by the office personnel. They'd keep a single issue of everything they printed on hand in case they needed it for reference. These books usually just sat untouched for years until someone cleaned out the storage room and started tossing them out. Great find and a little piece of history from where the book was printed. Congrats.

Ironically I ran across a few Fangos from my childhood in a box a few days ago. I'll dig them back out and post a pic. Mine were a little more loved and well read than yours is.

Found a very nice copy this weekend but it had the tears. They were not as bad as some I've seen, but they were still there.

Definitely a prototype. No doubt about that.
