  1. This is my favorite cover in the Scary Tales run. The colors just blow me away! Plus it sports a cool "Ghost Rider" type cover.

Yup. I was a big fan of the Bronze Charlton horror titles.

Those painted covers used to give me the willies.

Great books! I don't see them in this nice of shape very often.

  2. hmmmmm... i don't have one sadly, when i get one i'll PM It to you. Thanks again, the feedback is really encouraging to me!

Go back and edit all your posts to get rid of the shroom pic.

I don't want all the "day walkers" to get the scoop on my finds.

Your art kicks major , shiv.

I want one on the wall of my comic room BADLY.

It's inspiring me to dust off my drawing desk.

Not that my imagination can scratch the surface of this stuff.

  3. the two at the top left i do still have, they are $250 for the skull spider & $300 for the mushroom. I have been lucky enough to get several comissions in the $400 range lately (like the clock one) so things are going in a good direction.

Dude, update your website, post in the marketplace & sell on eBay. You'd make a killing. Those are fantastic pieces.

    No kidding.

Now I'm trying to figure out a way to come up with $300.

    Fantastic art!

I have a thing about Clowns, Jack-o-lanterns, and Monkeys.

Childhood trama in all 3 cases.

Mabel the Monkey - I hope she's enjoying her stay in Hell.

  6. Yeah, the book appears to be majorly mis-folded. Seems to be a rather common defects on early-mid 60's Marvels. Or maybe it's just me... confused-smiley-013.gif

I guessed that's what he's talking about, but I wanted to be sure.

If this was an actual production defect, and not just a spine roll, I'll have to consult a higher authority. shocked.gif

An answer on how it happened will be posted soon.

  7. What flaw specifically?

    confused-smiley-013.gif

Where's the 893censored-thumb.gif is my answer?

I'm still trying to find one with the flaw.

I can't tell without looking at it.

I'm going to the LCS today to see if I can find one with it.

Box up some of those sweet DC's and send them to me if you want a quick answer.

Even with the delay on yours, my turn around time is still blowing certain grading companies out of the water.
