Pod....sweet books....I love the Cap cover...nice looking book. Which came first....Winners 2 or Mysic 6? Which is the first Destroyer....I am not sure....my new Mystic has an inside date of October 1941 - what about the Winners? Just curious??? I dont think OS is clear on this .... Awsome books, keep on buyin and postin!!! I also picked up my new HT #5 along with the Mystic book. Schomburg cover and a Torch and Subby battle to boot. As a little dust shadow on the cover, but I am very happy with it....

Nice book Pod... Since I started collecting back in June, here are all my Timelys since then. A few restored/PLOD books, just had the Cap book show up from Bob Storms and a couple other new ones...will post some scans later.....not sure I can afford much else this year.....but I just love these books.... Better start collecting ungraded bronze-age before my wife banishes me to the shed....

This arrived today....HT#9 Blue Label 5.5 with C/O-W pages. I am really happy with it .... thanks to Phil OOOOOOHHHHHHH....another Torch for my collection.... Torch just blew through three tanks - including Rommels and then twisted/melted the snot out of another tanks barrel....just cool - love these covers... Sorry for the crummy picture....my scanner does not like slabs...

Saw this one on Bob Storms site and kicked around buying it for a few days and finally decided to make an offer.. SOLD .. I kind of had it on my want list due to the cool cover and with Schomburg....well, nuff said. Love the V-5 rockets! It is a blue label 6.5. Cannot wait until I get it. I cannot believe the colour on that National #10! Is that for real? Or am I seeing things. Beautiful colors....man I feel like my collection is a piece of when I look at that book. Where did you get most of your books from....they all look fantastic and like you just pulled 'em off the rack.... Congrats - just fantastic books!!!

Well, here is my list.....actually two lists - the Unrealistic List and the Realistic List......maybe have a shot at some on my Realistic list in the next year or two... Unrealistic List ...... Marvel Mystery #1 Marvel Mystery #9 Marvel Mystery #10 Captain America #1 Human Torch #2 (#1) Of course all high grade for the above Realistic List ....... Marvel Mystery #40 Marvel Mystery #44 Human Torch #10 Human Torch #5 USA Comics #8 Mid grade, maybe resto, what ever I can get my hands on that looks good

I agree....those colours on the Cap look really stong Pod - would love to see a scan on it once it is cracked. Looks pretty sweet....

Please excuse my supid question, but how does one actually free the book from the dreaded slab.....does not look that easy - is there a knack to it so you do not damage the book.....I just bought a HT and am thinking I might do some crackin when I get it...not sure yet, but how would I safely get it out without wrecking the book??? Thanks!

Squid....I TOTALLY AGREE....one can never have too many Schomburg WW2 covers......nice book! I love how Alex came up with all these "death machines" .... love the guy in the background turning the wheel.....hey we need a Schomburg cover thread!
