  1. Here's a few new additions to my 1964 silver age Marvel collection.
  2. Love 'em. You have some really nice B&B's!!!
  3. Silver, your three B&B's are beautiful. They look so nice together and especially look great not slabbed. Love 'em. And yes, I'm sure there would be a bidding war for a 7.0 B&B #2, I'm sure, and not just between you and me . That 9.0 a #32 for sale is a bit out of my range. I checked GPA and the last sale recorded for that book in 9.0 was $900 in June of '23. That's quite a jump in price. It's a pretty book though. Oh my. that 9.2 with WHITE pages is gorgeous. I might pay $2595 for that one!!!
  4. I agree. Issue #2 will be, by far, the hardest and most expensive issue to find in 7.0 or better. There are four in 7.0, and one in 7.5 and 8.0. I know where the 8.0 is and would have to stand in line to get that one. Hopefully, one of the other #2's will come up and nobody will notice and I can get it for under $100. Well, probably have to add, at least, another zero to that. Hepcat, I have found that B&B #32 & 33 are much harder to find in decent shape than the #31. I have owned several #31's, including a beautiful 9.0 that I think another boardie now owns. I currently have an 8.0 that's nice, but haven't seen a high grade 32 or 33 in a long time. I love the first three appearances of Cave Carson!!!
  5. It’s been one year since I posted the above picture of my pre-hero Brave & Bold collection so I thought that I would post an update of where my collection stands a year later. I picked up three books that I did not have: B&B #7, CGC 7.0 B&B #18, CGC 7.5 (thanks Brad!) B&B #21, CGC 8.0 I also managed to upgrade a few: B&B #4, from a 6.5 to a 7.0 B&B #15, from a 6.5 to a 7.5 B&B #19, from a 6.5 to a 7.5 B&B #24 from a 6.0 to a 7.5 So I only have four more issues to go to complete the run — #’s 2, 8, 12 and 16. — all tough books to find in the grade I want. Also, I would like to upgrade the 6.5’s if the right book comes along. Anyway, I will keep plugging along, and hopefully, complete the run at some point. Rick
  6. Thanks. I am starting to rebuild my new silver age Marvel collection. I started buying these books off the stands in late 1963 and was hooked for life by 1964, so that's what I'm going after.
  7. Thanks Lou. I am enjoying collecting these early issues, although finding them in 5.0 that present well is tough.
  8. Picked up a few low/mid-grade early Marvels recently...
  9. That's it for now. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions. Rick
