  1. Some really nice Weird War books...
  2. Haven't posted in a while, but it sure is nice to see all those great horror books. Gee, greggy, is there ANY book you don't have? I mean — WOW!!! The Heroes Convention is coming up in a couple of weeks for those of you who live close enough to Charlotte, NC to attend. It's a great little con that's put on by Sheldon Drum, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in the business. Anyway, I've pulled out some of my boxes of comics again and tried to scan some that I haven't seen posted yet. Hope I don't duplicate any. I was too lazy to go all the way back to the first post and check. Here is one of my absolute favorite HOM covers.
  3. Is that the same guy on the cover of the 104 and 118???
  4. Here are a few House of Secrets issues that have "just ok" covers (IMO). Although, I do like the #130...
  5. Thought I'd post a few more scans. I've always thought this book was kind of overlooked, what with all the Wrightson issues surrounding it, but this is really one fine cover...
  6. With over three days remaining, how high will this one go? WITCHING HOUR #1
  7. Absolutely incredible cover!!!!! Joe Kubert, Berni Wrightson, Neal Adams, Mike Kaluta. Does it get any better than 70's DC Horror??
  8. I agree! But, it's fun trying...
  9. What about the 209, 214 and 217? Seems to me that these are hard to find also. Am I right or not?
  10. Hey, Rip, what Heroes are you talking about? East coast or West coast?
  11. I am sorry about that. It looked like a very nice book. I guess you never can tell. I can't begin to count all of the (FINE) NM books I've bought off ebay.
  12. Nope...I don't collect that high in the number range....YET! Maybe I should ditch my 100 page giant focus and concentrate on DC bronze horror! I'm just lucky to buy most of my 20 cent cover DC horror from one source! No. I think you should stick with the 100 pagers. Don't bother with that horror junk. OK? (PS. I still haven't forgiven you for snipping that Adventure 431 out from under me
  13. Other favorite HOM covers are 214, 217 and 231!!! I also like 261. Does anyone have a HG 265 or 290. That 290 is H-O-T!!! What about a high grade 267? Greggy? Sterling? Shiver? anybody?
  14. Don't you guys think that the HOM & HOS books are still grossly undervalued in the Guide? Not that I'm complaining too loudly, because I still have quite a few HOM issues left to get. But still, 236 has a beautiful (now THAT'S a classic!!!) Wrightson cover, Ditko pencils and Adams inks and guides for $18??? I'll gladly pay triple guide for that book!!! Any takers??? I doubt it. And, yes, the #4 has some great Adams' art inside, including several full-page splashes. The #10 has Jim Aparo interior art that's also pretty nice.
  15. Oh. I also love that HOM 212 cover!!! I could go on and on...
  16. HOS and HOM have so many great covers that it's hard to for me to pick a favorite, but I really do like that #100. Phantom Stranger favs for me are the #10, #12 and #26. My favorite HOIM covers are both by Berni Wrightson. They are #'s 217 and 236. Sadly, I don't own either one of these, but I'm still looking!!!
  17. My all-time favorite PS cover...
  18. The "all-new" Phantom Stranger...
