  1. I thought you sold all your books to Rodney.
  2. I didn't mean to imply that I wasn't, but if you ever decide to sell it. Let me know. One day I will be in a better position to negotiate. Contrary to general board opinion, I would actually give you more than what you paid for it.
  3. Dibs on the Northlands. Those will be the last to go. I want my 10 back.
  4. The book I purchased from you was great. Your bedside manner could use a little work.
  5. Thanks, Danny. Nice to be back. Hey Rhonda, didn't mean to overlook you.
  6. Not to be nosy, but why? I ask because it's fascinating when I think of how many collectors I've seen go from one extreme to another; from collecting the best of the best to not collecting at all. Did you just burn out? I'm tired. I am in talks now with a good friend to help me with my raw books. I am finding that I like the social aspect of the hobby much better than the owning/hoarding portion of the hobby.
  7. Nope. I didn't purchase anything. Toying with the idea of selling everything. Period. Down to the last poly bag.
  8. Doubt anything is going on... I ain't takin' any chances.
  9. Thanks, but I am getting suspicious of auctions hosted by people who have access to all of the maximum bids.
  10. 296 - 175 262 - 161 That 262 will take a serious tumble, if folks would just get it slabbed. There is no reason for it to be scarce.
  11. Who won it? Don't know, but I wasn't anywhere near that price. The other two went for more than I was willing to pay as well.
  12. Kudos to BeachBum. Very fast payment on two sweet X-Men books.
  13. Mark posted it for informative purposes only. It's no different than a "Mr. X screwed me on eBay" or "Their raw grading sucks" thread.
  14. Yep. Like when I got to pee real bad. That's funny. I always figured you to be full of...
  15. Jim, if we could agree some simple guidelines, I suspect that, providing there's not a lot of work involved, Arch would be happy to enforce them. (thumbs u I am all for guidelines. Plus, I agree that they should be simple. Simple is the key as they do not need to read like some differential calculus equation. We, and I include myself, have had some very successful sales and I would hate to see that go. I think this is a situation where a few (very few) bad apples are spoiling it for the whole bunch. Now, about this idea of having Page 3 girls pictured throughout the sales threads much like Arch's selling notice...
  16. Kudos to Rich Henn for letting us have our way with his sales thread and still managing to sell a book. Thanks, Rich. (thumbs u
  17. How can you have guidelines when there is no manner of enforcement?
  18. When did this become a place that supported free thinking?
