  3. Just so you don't get the wrong idea, the original asking price on that piece was set by the pieces owner and does not reflect the opinion of the staff at ComicConnect. when it didn't sell it was taken to Comiclink, and, well, you can see what happened.
  4. Glad you're happy with it Luca, it's a beautiful page. -Micah
  5. Anyone got any idea who drew this? I believe it was used as a con print. Thanks

  7. Ok, a lot has been said here, some valid, some less so. when you deal with the number of consignors that we do mistakes are sure to happen every now and again. I can only speak for myself, but I have been working on ways to, at the very least, keep them to a minimum. Realistically there’s no way for us to have every consigned book on premises, for a variety of reasons, but the idea to confirm the possession of the book before payment is required is a good one, and I will absolutely pass it along. I get that it’s irritating to not get timely responses from customer service, that is not something that I directly have anything’s to do with. My email is micahs@metropoliscomics.com, if anyone wants to contact me directly with any issues I will do my best to resolve them quickly and with as little hassle as possible. I do appreciate the feedback, both good and bad. It’s how we work to make improvements, all I ask is for a bit of patience. thank you
  8. The books in auctions are required to be sent it, because we know they will sell on a specific date. It's the fixed price marketplace where we allow sellers to consign without sending the books.as they could sit there for a while.
  9. We do stop taking consignments from sellers who repeatedly don't have the books they sell. Unfortunately it's impossible to keep everything in house, from a storage perspective.
  10. Steve, On behalf of ComicConnect, I want to say how sorry we are about the delay in this order. Because we deal in books on consignment sometimes there is a delay from ordering to shipping, in the case of this book the consignor was away when the purchase was made and upon his return was unable to locate it, he's been searching for it since and feels terribly that it hasn't turned up. He has one more place he thinks it could be and is also concerned that it may have been stolen. I'm including a picture of the book here just on the off chance that it shows up someplace else. Be assured that we are doing our best to rectify the situation, and if the book does not turn up you will be refunded in full. Thank you, Micah from ComicConnect
  11. This book actually predated their 1st appearance in the cartoon by a month or so.
  12. All of the original art in the auction ends tonight! See the original post for highlights. Good luck!
  13. At the request of the consignor I'm not at liberty to say. All I can say is that it's no longer available.
  14. Metropolis Gallery’s exhibition of original art by Sean Murphy focusing on his Batman: White Knight series is coming to a close this weekend. There’s still a great variety of excellent pieces available, including covers, interior pages, and preliminary drawings. Sean’s work is truly a marvel, and the collector response to the show has proven that he is an artist worth paying attention to. These pages won’t be available forever, and with the hobby moving the way it’s been it’s likely you won’t see them at these prices again. If you’ve been on the fence about picking one up there’s no more time to wait. Reasonable time payments can be arranged on most pieces. The art is also still open to being viewed in person through Friday, please call or email to set up an appointment. See all the available art here! Call 212-260-4147 or email micahs@metropoliscomics.com for assistance or with any questions.
