  1. SOLD for $100.00! Thank you for your interest in this title and post. I will NEVER send another thing into CGC! As it was one of the WORST, drawn out experiences in my life! it took THREE attempts (and three months) to properly grade this comic. Customer service was OK the first time, way BETTER the second time. Make sure if there's anything special or different with a comic you send in that you LET THEM KNOW IN DETAIL, otherwise they will look it over and NOT record it. That's what happened to my comic TWICE!
  2. A reminder for those who are interested. There's a little over two days left on the auction. You can go to the auction page by clicking HERE.
  3. It took them 3 TIMES to grade this one. It was graded in June, July and August. I'm actually happy with the outcome. BUT, this will be the FIRST and LAST time I will slab a comic. It's just too much of a hassle.
  4. If anyone is interested, I've put the slabbed comic up on eBay HERE.
  5. If anyone is interested, I've put the slabbed comic up on eBay HERE.
  6. It's something to think that you have to go through ALL THAT to make SURE it will be graded properly. At that point you're doing everything for them except grading and slabbing, IMHO.
  7. With the help of Customer Service rep Jennifer Fuls, it's being sent back a second time to be graded by Matt Nelson. I'll update you when I get more information.
  8. Reps from CGC or people (members here) responding to the thread got nasty with you? IMHO, anyone and anything has the right to be questioned. No one person or organization is above being questioned.
  9. I'm in contact with Jennifer Fuls, as Brittany is currently working with the artists they have coming in this week for private signings. Jennifer is in the process of contacting the grader to get an explanation as to why it was graded as such... TWICE.
  10. I couldn't agree MORE! I'm VERY disappointed and frustrated! I'm NOT happy at all about their service!
  11. Very valid points! Makes me think they're NOT doing the job they are being paid for very well. I'm VERY unhappy about this situation.
  12. I couldn't agree MORE! I've heard NOTHING back from my PM to CGC either. I guess their too busy and too good to reply to an nbhappy customer.
  13. I THOUGHT I would get something like this. Guess I was dead WRONG... TWICE!
  14. Thank you and I AGREE. I really could care less about the grade. I would like the FACT recorded for the record there's a Marvel Fantastic Four #246 INSIDE a DC Night Force #2. Why is this such a HARD concept to understand? I really wish someone from CGC would read this thread and give me an explanation. As I'm VERY UPSET about this. UPDATE: I sent CGC a private message directing them to this post. I hope they can clarify why they have chosen NOT to give it a green label with the proper documentation.
  15. "OP, did you include a note about this with the submission?" Yes. Rebecca Bonacci gave me the instructions below before I sent it back for reevaluation (which I did): Write the following notations in large bold font on the printed Packing Slip *MECHANICAL ERROR – REASON(TRANSIT DMG/DEBRIS/LABEL ERROR) *APPROVAL CODE: B0620B * Record the SPECIFIC problem or correction next to each line item
