    Here is a righteous bump for you toy folks.

     

    (In case anyone is wondering, AFA looks like they have gotten a little more strict as of late. I have several pieces that I am awaiting to get back and will keep you posted.

     

    Just found this gem as I have been looking years for him. Overall came in at 80 with subs of 80 85 85. There is a tiny bit of edge wear on the front portion top of the box beneath the front flap and the back has no flap crease. This was so close to getting an overall 85.

     

    This is the very first pre-rub edition release from hasbro.)

    Speaking of cats,here's a new member of our family:

    His name is Puma :grin:

     

    One of my mom's co workers found him on the highway.

    She knew we were looking for another cat for Meko.

    So,she called us to see if we were interested in him.

    We said yes,and she drove to our APT gave us the kitty.

    He was so scared that night he didn't eat or drink anything.

    By the next morning,he started to eat & drink.

    He's becoming a great cat for Meko :)

     

    That's a pretty cat!

     

    I will post some of my "babies" getting set up in our new house in California. Both of my cats sit in the window sunning for so long I swear I smell cooking fur! lol

    C2E2 report...

     

    GFT books were not appearing to do anything at the exhibitor booths each time I walked by. There was a gorgeous EBas cover for something that looked amazing from the production value.

    Good report Jon. I've never seen the appeal of these books. They've always felt like all flash, no substance, manufactured rarities. This market will implode at some point. The only reason I would buy these is if I loved them and never planned to sell them. Otherwise, they feel like Lady Death and Witchblade all over again.

     

    I enjoyed the early GFT stories (1-25ish), but can't see myself paying the $$$ for flashy sex covers. I do have the hardcover compilations! (thumbs u

    I started playing D and D thirty-one years ago. I traded all my stuff for high-grade bronze Avengers issues when I was a junior in high school. I miss the lead figures the most and have started buying them again. I loved the episode on Freaks and Geeks where the cool, bad boy type played D and D with the "geeks."

    You'll love this too then!
