I see a New listing for $4500 on ebay. It's not even autographed yet it's almost going for twice the books worth at a 9.8. Hopefully this isn't a trend. I'm still looking into getting a copy at that same grade. But not at that price....

Hello, I was wondering if you could explain these scuffs or smudges within the inner well of the casing. I'm considering getting this reholdered but what worries me that the grade could be affected during this process. The case is in great condition no cracks whatsoever. Can't imagine these were originally on the book when graded. If so it wouldn't be at a 9.8. When I hold the case to the light it does appear to be on the casing itself just not on the outside. I believe these smudges weren't from the signature because it shows no smearing and it looks perfect. Thanks!

Might have to get it reholdered...Scruff marks along the front and back inside the case but overall looks great! For a sec I thought its was the signature but when looking at it again there's no smudge along his name.

I agree. Actually I didn't notice till late. But I didn't pull the trigger on it so I'll just pass.

How often you see issues like this. Where you have a graded 9.8 but it appears to show a bad trim on the cover. Just wondering if I should buy it at $2600....or just wait it out?
