It was later auctioned off again at half the price. I had deep pockets back then; glad I dodged that bullet.

If Spencer was selling that entire issue for 30k? then I've would've paused and maybe thrown an offer....lol. The seller will easily get his money back (well, depending what he paid for). There's just too many Spider-Man collectors out there. Not sure how I feel about Spider-Boy being as popular as Miles. The majority of collectors I know feel this is just a quick flip as opposed to enjoying the character itself. Not too many are happy with how the costume looks.

Purchased my 2nd page in the auction. I'm now broke!

The Capullo Batman #50 was being sold at $45k+ on another site. Went to auction and sold just for $26k. Crazy...

I'm happy to say I won a page today. I was expecting it go a lot higher.

I put in a test bid to see how long I'll be the highest bidder on one particular page. Sure enough within 30 mins I was outbid. It just tells me that the page I'm going for is expected to go pretty high. I'm hoping that's not the case. But it looks like that's where it's going.

Well hopefully there not making a run at what I'm going for....crossing fingers.

There's only one page I'm tracking on Heritage. Sure enough, it's a Byrne page.

True, to a certain degree. I feel like artists such as Stegman, Finch, Fabok & DWJ can hold their value. Maybe not now but in the near future. But when you have Peach Momoko art going as high as 7-10k... not so much.

I'm seeing a lot of decent prices on Skottie Young art as of late. His Secret Wars Variant Cover #9 sold for $2101. I remember seeing that cover sale in Heritage a few months back for I think $3500+. Not sure why they decided to flip it right away.

Flipper All Day!!

I won this cover in the previous auction. I cancelled after I found out that the Banning inks we're done after publication. Commissioned inks over original pencils. I'm kind of surprised they didn't list that in the description this time around. It's a great cover. I just couldn't get past the inks weren't done pre-production.

Not sure if this has been posted before. I'm looking for an affordable (if there's such a thing) scanner for Original Comic Art. I've been buying high end pieces and wanted to start posting it on CAF. I was hoping to find something that scan up to 11x17. Any recommendations....

I did laugh off the price of ASM #300 when I first I saw it. But then again, is it really that crazy? If a Secret Wars page can pull in 3 million plus. Why can't this sale for 5 million?

Not naming names but someone bought a commission homage piece for $7500 (charity) a few months ago. Then, I see that same piece posted today for $30,000 by the same buyer. It's not even published...
