When your wife asks where all the comic book boxes come from and you realize you have 5 copies of X-men 50, it may be time to sell a few comics to make room for....more comics!
Process:
I will be starting with slabbed books listed alphabetically and in a week adding some raw books. I reserve the right to add more slabs for the enjoyment of all!
Backgrounds:
Longtime buyer and first time seller on CGC. Many folks here know me and I do have a reference thread. Always feel free to send an email too!
Rules:
Payment -> PayPal is easiest for orders under $2,000. For larger orders, I would ask to do a wire, check or MO.
Shipping -> US shipping on raw books is capped at $14.65. I can ship slabs for about $15 in the US with Priority. I will ship to Canada and charge the exact cost to you. I will not ship outside the US& Canada at this time.
Returns -> I'll accept returns on raw books only as long as it is in the same condition (barring a shipping error) and notified within 3 days of delivery, but shipping is on the buyer unless I made an error in the listing. All slabs are final sales.
Take It -> First “I’ll take it” in the thread wins, and those would trump any ongoing PM negotiations.
No! -> No buyers from the bad lists including Santa's.
Let me know if I missed anything.

I keep my slabs safely stuffed in waterproof Ziploc bags and hide them inside my toilet tank (complete darkness and the last place thieves will look). Another sneaky place to store slabs (again, in waterproof cases - very important!) is hidden beneath the gravel in your piranha tank (I even have a little deep-sea diver and bubbling treasure chest placed in my own aquarium to make sure I remember where I buried the comics). Not sure about the humidity as far as either of those suggestions go, though...
And raw comics? I hide them under my mattress: zero light, free pressing and I sleep as soundly as a princess with a pea knowing any burglars will have to roll my load off my king-size Casper to steal my sheet!
I thought burying them under your garden was best as the mineral contribute to the health of the pages? Just ensuring you water frequently...

Why are gun safes bad? I've used one for many years.
Safe deposit box is the best answer for very valuable books (whatever your definition is--mine is >$10k).
I hear gun safes have very poor humidity control in general and tend to rust staples. This is just what I've read over multiple threads but can't confirm beyond that.
Thank you all for the info and thoughts so far!

Serious question as gun safes are bad, sitting in my closet isn't great. Any good way to store slabs to adjust for humidity and light?
Also and perhaps there's a post already, any good way to display without inevitable damage?

I've been convinced to have a sales thread. Never leave me again CGC!

Honest question for a thread like this. How do you determine the BTC or Etherium value at time of payment or agreed purchase time?
