  1. This pertains to nothing yet, and I'm not claiming anything, I just really felt left out for missing the past two nights while @habsfan1 and @PunisherPunisherPunisher had their fun... I'll get back in the saddle tomorrow.
  2. Agreed with @Cman429 - I've bought hundreds of dollars worth here (and sold tens of dollars worth ) - using Paypal Goods and Services as payment adds a layer of protection, and I've never had a bad experience so far.
  3. So, not quite strictly $1 box, but some recent $2/book pickups from Half Price Books (thanks a lot, inflation). I think the $2 box might be the new $1 box...
  4. Some $2/book Half Price Book pickups: And part of a $25 20-book eBay lot (the rest of the books were direct editions):
  5. While we're airing complaints - I can't stand when sellers don't upload a tracking number. If there's a reason you want to use your own shipping and not eBay's built-in shipping, fine. But then don't mark an item shipped and not add a tracking number! I hate that.
  6. Paid $15 for a 15-book lot on eBay because I wanted these books from it (late DC newsstands, a cool variant All-Star Batman and a WalMart Flash Rebirth 1):
  7. These went on sale the other day on Amazon, and I just had to pick them up:
  8. We were just watching old home videos at Christmas, and in one of the videos I opened this very collector kit - man I wish I still had it!
  9. Just came today, this is awesome! Looking forward to digging into it, thank you again!!
  10. Thanks - those I knew, and I was pretty mad to learn that's all there was. I had a ton of figures, vehicles (Landshark, Battle Bones, Wind Raider, Battle Ram, Bashasaurus, Stridor, Battle Cat and Panthor), Grayskull, Snake Mountain and more. A lot of them apparently disappeared when I went off to college... As did apparently all my Secret Wars and Super Powers figures... Edit to add - I actually did take my Orko with me when I moved as he was my favorite character back then, so I still have my OG Orko. Since then, I've re-bought all of my favorites in Origins (including Grayskull, Snake Mountain and Point Dread, which I didn't have as a kid) and I got almost all of the Mega Construx sets, as well as a few really nice Masterverse figures including the outstanding Masterverse Battle Cat they released. I also now have a nearly complete vintage Castle Grayskull and Point Dread, thanks in large part to my bother's help, and I re-acquired a gen 1 He-Man and Battle Cat at a very lucky deal price on an eBay auction. So I'm happy with my current collection. But getting back the stuff you actually owned as a kid just has a different feel.
  11. That group is unreal, thanks! Here's what I got so far - they only didn't identify 3 of the 30: 1. Rat King - TMNT 2. Scumbug - TMNT 3. Triceraton - TMNT 5. Ninja - Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos 6. General Traag - TMNT 7. Fugitoid - TMNT 8. Raphael - TMNT 9. Snakebite - SuperNaturals 10. Sky Escape Joker - Batman 12. GI Joe Accessory Pack 13. Windchill - GI Joe 14. Stalker V2 - GI Joe 15. Gnawgahyde - GI Joe 16. Dreadnok Ripper - GI Joe 17. Krang - TMNT 18. Windchill -GI Joe 19. Cobra Wolf - GI Joe 20. B.A.T.s - GI Joe 21. Outback - GI Joe 22. GI Joe Accessory Pack 24. Outback - GI Joe 25. Outback - GI Joe 26. Stalker V2 - GI Joe 27. Artctic Blast - GI Joe 28. Sewer Swimmin' Donatello - TMNT 29. Stalker V2 - GI Joe 30. Spearhead - GI Joe #4 is definitely a TMNT belt, but there's no letter on it, so I think it might be Splinter's...
  12. It could definitely be an accessory pack - those used to be cheap, easy birthday party gifts when we were kids, so I'm sure I must have gotten one or two! I just got accepted into that Facebook group, so I'll post back what I find out if people are interested.
  13. My parents gave me a bunch of my old stuff when I was home for Christmas, including: A pretty sweet (but beat up) calendar from 1991, each month has a different pin-up: A TPB: And some original art from a 12-year-old me:
  14. Parents found a bunch of my old Nintendo Power Mags. I know I already have some here at my house, I'll have to dig them out. I 100% owned a first issue at one point, but if it's not in the bin here at my house, then it's long gone. All the original inserts and stuff are there, even though these are pretty beat. We used to share them around at school during lunch and take them to friends' houses. These two unfortunately don't have the covers, but they do have the original SMB2 strategy guides still stapled inside:
